    I'll say this for the Newcastle strip - it has some lovely white stripes. Not enough of them but still... well done on that.

    I think both teams have done well on the home strips front this year. However, the back at the top of ours is a bit odd, and theirs doesn't look as good on fans with say jeans compared to players in the shorts and socks (that is unless NUFC fans frequnetly wear the full kit and are over the age of 9).

    I 'm afraid I don't like that 'V' effect on the back ours, and I don't like any of the striped kits that have a solid colour on the back... but it's all a matter of taste.
