They ban and fine Suarez? That just makes no sense, they originally tried to get the to sort it out as they reckoned there was no real racism and they should shake hands and get on with it.

That failed as Evra was determined to make trouble as usual, strike in the world cup afer cheating their way in, typical french ****s, so how come the FA went from mediation to a fine and ban?

France cheating??? How about Suarez hand ball in the quarters???

    Oh the irony.

Nice racist remark about the French at the end as well. Yet more irony. Reds showing their class today.

Professional Footballers' Association chief executive Gordon Taylor said: "It's important that when players come to this country they appreciate that while we are very culturally diverse, very cosmopolitan, that's it's also a job for the PFA and the FA and the clubs themselves to educate them.

"That means not just the rules of the game but what's acceptable as the law of the land, and what isn't acceptable both on and off the pitch.

"This is about treating people equally."

Taylor also revealed how attempts by his organisation to mediate between Luis Suarez and Patrice Evra failed.

"I didn't want [the case] to escalate, but I wasn't able to get the players together," Taylor said.

Now someone tell me how to square this circle. - If Evra accepts that there was no racist intent, WTF did he not get around the table with Suarez, unless SirExLax was telling him not to? I can't see what Suarez had to gain from staying away from the meeting, so it had to be United and Evra...

They are trying to claim that Suarez is innocent because there is nothing to prove that he's guilty (despite none of them having been at the hearing to hear what evidence was put across) whilst at the same time making Evra out to be a liar (again, despite not knowing what evidence was put across at the hearing).

The French aren't a race, they're a nation. Ask the African and Indochinese diaspora living in the slums of Paris and Marseilles and consider themselves French (including Evra, a Senegalese)

And France cheated, as there was no punishment for them or Thierry Henry. Suarez took one for the team and was banned.

They both cheated. Both should of been punished if you want a punishment for France/ Henry.

My Grandad always said in the war, he'd rather of faced 10 germans armed with SMG's than have one unarmed Frenchman stood behind him...Until today I always thought he was being a little dramitic with that comment.

Oh so it's not cheating if you get caught and banned...fair enough.

And I stand corrected, he was being a xenophobe rather than a racist. Much better.

You can consider it cheating or self sacrifice for your country. Would you be happier if FIFA applied a life ban to him in regards playing for his country? Then it would be the 'Ultimate footballing sacrifice'.

And Xenophobia is no better than racism, its just nationalism, which causes xenophobia, is a newer phenomenon than eyesight, which sees the difference in the colour of skin. Doesn't make it any more acceptable.

But I wouldn't expect a Chelsea 'fan' to understand that. You had the racist scum Headhunters standing in your ground for years...

Oh so I'm not allowed to hate the french anymore? Sir I am an Englishman and reserve the right to hate the French, just as I expect and accept that they should hate me <ok>

You will never take away my right to stand on the White Cliffs of Dover shaking my fist in Frances general direction while they eat garlic and burn our sheep.

As for me stating 'much better' try reading the thread and then looking up 'sarcasm' you stupid fuk-wit.

As for Suarez, he was appropriately banned and fair enough I was merely pointing out the irony of the OP calling France cheats when Suarez is also a cheat (and that's without going into the diving as well).

2 many people basking in false glory of 'backin punishin racism'. No real interest in discussing IF JUSTICE HAS BEEN DONE.

It reeks of the FA saying, " We must find someone guilty of racism,to look strong against racism, WHETHER they are guilty or not"

Why is what Suarez done cheating? Should he have let the ball go in instead? If you foul a player, is that also cheating?

There isn't a supporter here that would not have done the same if they were playing fro their country. Apart from the lying ****s that cannot be honest with themselves that is.

I would ahve stuck a hard out and it is a split second decision, as for the French comments I am talkin Paltini and the late change to the rules to suit France as they may go out. And the shinnanigans after they qualified, the French football team were a disgrace to football and Evra was one of those disgraced footballers, stiking footballers at teh world cup!! W T F

Drogba feigned injury against Liverpool in the CL roleld off the pitch and rolled back on to stop the game which shouldn't have been stopped at all.

Drogba handed the ball into the city goal to beat city 2 1 and a city player gets sent off over arguing with the ref over it

Drogba has cleaned his act up only because Refs gave him fk all free kicks for his shinnanigans
