Agents trying to make money, and journo's writing ****e... SUNDERLAND boss Martin OâNeill insists he has not even started looking for the players he may try to sign during the January transfer window. The Black Cats tonight play their fourth game in the 18 days since OâNeill was named as successor to Steve Bruce. An away defeat at Wolves was followed by a dramatic home win over Blackburn and then last weekendâs 2-1 defeat at Spurs. With games coming thick and fast, the Sunderland manager says his schedule has been hectic, not helped by being âinundatedâ with possible candidates. He said: âI have not had time to start looking at players. âThat doesnât mean I havenât been inundated with agents calling, inventing players as they normally do, even players who donât belong in their books. âBut from that viewpoint, nothing has changed. I will see how things develop. âBut we have got a squad here and if nothing happens, then I would be happy to work with it.â
