If we stay organized there is no reason why we can't take something from tonight.

Just heard Jol's pre-Utd interview at FFC website. Really interesting.

A few points for me that come out:
    1. Develop the squad for the future.
    2. Ruiz and Dembele take more on their shoulders.
    3. Kasami, Gecov, Frei and 3-4 others not named as the future of Fulham.
    4. Wants the youngsters to push the senior players more for starting 11.
    5. He wants Fulham to be a top 6-8 club!

I say this is a manager with ambition and realism given the size of our club. We are not aiming for top 4 and CL but EL is where he feels we belong and can compete and see nothing wrong with that!!

As for tonight as FFC4L states.. stay together as a unit and defend well. The rest will come!

I don't think we need to worry about Jol 'showing character'. He's already shown that he's willing to drop the big names if he thinks it's best for the team. If Zamora plays it will be because Jol thinks he'll add something that AJ doesn't. Personally, I'm expecting AJ to start, but if he doesn't I don't believe for a second it will be because Jol bottled the decision.

Agree completely, Captain. Sometimes power works against an opponent, sometimes it's pace. I'm guessing that the feelings of AJ or BZ are the last thing on Jol's mind. It's funny how the balance of power shifts toward the manager the more successful a team gets. And lately, aside from Swansee and Odense, we've played rather well.

Pleased with the other things, but this needs to be elaborated on? I'd be quite happy if they were the future of Fulham.

EDIT: Or am I a tit and have I read that wrong?

Bidley, he see in those youngsters enough qualities to be Fulham's future team... Does this answer your question?

Evans will be quaking in his boots at the prospect of playing up against BZ again. BZ mullered him before and stayed with him throughout the game. Just hope Bobby isn't still being effected by his knee problem.

I just hope our midfield can enjoy the night and continue their excellent form.

As a side note: my Dad (84) went to the Bolton game with my nephews and had a great time, just loved the atmosphere. I belive when he was first watching our games FFC hadn't even put the railings around the pitch!
