Was thinking exactly that Eric. Best keep this thread for the non Suarez stuff. It will be a tough game but one we have to win. It is one of five that I had hoped we will come out of with fifteen points and a return of that through December sets us up nicely. There is always one that proves difficult though and I suspect it could be tonight, although in reality we should have the beating of them and Craven Cottage is like a home game with the majority of the crown United fans! I can't see anything other than wins on the home games against Wigan and Blackburn that follow. Not if we have serious ambitions to win the league.
You'll lose one of them because you're playing cack and your spawn has to evade you at some point. This is the law.
I get the feeling that the more you say this the more you really believe it to be so. We aren't playing cack at all, the evidence of the last two games would suggest a massive up turn in our form and that with better finishing the results could have been more clinical. You'll be owing me that cyber pint, don't you worry about that.

Did you watch our last few games? We've been playing very well, looked very comfortable and won with ease. We are not playing cack I expect tonight to be tough though. Craven Cottage is not an easy place to go to.

I really can't be bothered. Perhaps, as you said elsewhere, I am paranoid. It just seems that they really have it in for LFC. You can tell the LHC has been shut down for the Christmas break
I have a feeling it may actually help Liverpool by creating the siege mentality which SAF often mentions. I expect them to batter Wigan tonight and I actually do expect Carroll to step up for them.
Maybe. If a load of Liverpool fans turn up and get into the empty seats then it could well do. If not them the DW is not exactly your cauldron place and one to get inspired by. I would certainly think Dalglish will attept to use the worlds against us method, very effective it can be too. I wonder if Suarez will play?
To be honest I think there is something of an injustice, given that the FA and Evra both stated that Suarez is not racist and didn't behave in a racist manner. He deserves a punishment for using a potentially discriminatory term, but eight games is way too much imo. IIRC, the FA rules say you should get a two match ban for using offensive language (a la Rooney), and that ban can be doubled if you use a term that refers to skin colour, ethnicity, religion, gender or sexual orientation. So a four match ban would be standard. Yet they have lumped an eight match ban on him, without noting any racist intent. It smacks of yet another Rio drugs test / Rooney swearing affair, i.e. the media are watching, so let's massively overreact to appear tough. I get the feeling both Utd and Liverpool will draw tonight - we both have games we should win, but they're also the games we've performed poorly in over the last few seasons. Big tests for both clubs either way - we need to win if we're to maintain a credible title challenge and Liverpool need to win if they're to maintain a credible push for Europe.
