Try to pay attention to the debate. Even the Newcastle fans agree that there was no bias towards Utd, just crap refereeing and useful FA rules.
You really should read more carefully. No one is defending him. Everyone agrees he should have been sent off. But everyone also agrees that the FA stuck to their own rules when not taking further action against him. And everyone agrees that the rule about not taking action if a ref says they saw the incident is stupid BS and should be changed. Everyone also agrees it was the same when Gerrard and Malouda elbowed players, hospitalising the player in the case of Malouda, and weren't being punished cos the ref saw it and called it wrong. That clearer? I can use smaller words if you'd like...
1) The incidents in the Arsenal game where spread out in the match, it was a pre-meditated action, he had time to cool down after the sending off. Regardless, that makes it okay then ? 2) You didn't ask whether he was fined or not. you asked for an example of an Arsenal player accting innapropriately off the ball. 3) McCarthy body checked Rooney, obviously, this doesn't make the elbow okay though.
That's much clearer. This incident has nothing to do with them, I don't see the Wigan fans invading our board and complaining. Is there a specific reason why they're amongst us?
