But then Keith was hardly unblemished. Throwing his shirt at the dugout when he was subbed v Brentford was v naughty.
It was a great day for me .
I went with my uncle who was in the Navy and lived in Portsmouth and was A Pompey season ticket holder and an avid Portsmouth fan .
Even he was jumping around like an idiot when a Edwards scored that day .
Sadly no longer here which makes it even more memorable I still remember getting on the football special bus on Noddle Hill that day

We've won two of our last eight games.

Afraid to say on current form, we ain't making the playoffs.

Would be nice to be in them, it would represent great progress but our form is too **** at the moment.
Wrexham have won 2 in 6 possibly soon to be 2 in 7 is that not too **** for play offs?

I can't see them making it either.

We're just not consistent enough mate.

We've been unfortunate with injuries for sure, but unless we have a brilliant four games, we're not finishing top six.

What we've learned this season is that we've got the players to be a part of the promotion race, but what we need to do is find consistency and composure. At the moment, we're just too lax in possession and we're getting punished every game now.

One of us has to make it mate. <laugh>

Derby can still make it.

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather be in our position than Derby or Wrexham's, but can you hand on heart say we've looked as convincing as any of the other playoff sides (bar Boro who seem to be crumbling harder than we are)?

Derby are 5 points behind us still. They aren't making it. Agyemang injury put paid to that.

Yes I think we look plenty convincing, we just couldn't find a second today but created a lot of chances.

I'm a bit ****ing annoyed that were losing games that we've practically won by halftime. Our management, captain and leadership is fragile. Good teams with good leadership and good captaincy, don't capitulate like we do. We go 1 -0 up then retreat into 'frightened' mode. Try finding out what 2 - 0 looks like.

I don't know if we retreated at 1-0, we created a lot of good chances, sheff utd just didn't roll over and kept going and the red changed the game. Only a short while before the red belloumi had played a great ball across the defence that millar almost scored from.

We should've won at Oxford. We should have won (by half time) at Sheffield. We can't put a game to bed. Other teams can. Sheffield did it for the last 15 minutes today. We are a soft, gullible pushover for most teams.

We will be a much better team when we ditch the idea that 'Lewie Coyle' is 'one of our own' and appoint Slater or Alphabet as Captain.
