Yeah, I mean I hate pens when the attacker just nicks the ball while the defender is trying to boot it clear and gets kicked. Feels like majority of the time the attacker just knows all he has to do is get a touch and get kicked regardless of where the touch takes it.

Obviously is a foul but just feels harsh every time.

I don't even really think it's a foul tbh.

Whatever slim chance we have of finishing second I think relies pretty heavily on them dropping points today.

I don't think it was realistically on tbh. And chasing it so much could actually end up detrimental for the play offs.

Oh yeah it was still a huge long shot as it would basically mean that 3 teams had to pretty much hit relegation type form in the run in. Could easily happen to one team but expecting all 3 to fall off was very unlikely. Thats not even taking into account us continuing our form til the end of the season which is also unlikely.

Until it’s mathematically done it’s still possible and doesn’t change what we need to do either way which is win our remaining games so I’ll hope and see

Good day to win! Only us and Ipswich manage to do so all the way down to Preston in 13th!

Charlton - and to a lesser extent Blackburn - keep on finding a way to fail to get over the finish line. They should still be fine, but they'll want to get it done soon. Pompey and Oxford are still just in view.

I feel a bit sorry for Oxford. They were nowhere a few months ago, but despite fighting back I think they're going to fall short. Conceding those late goals to Pompey and Charlton were huge. Even though it would bring danger from below, I think they're going to need Leicester to win at Fratton next weekend.
