Simon Grayson seems a little agitated with the current form of his players. Tough talking tactics in this article below.

Stand up and be counted or get out seems to be his thinking. Tough league requires this sort of mentality though I suppose.

There's not much competition in the squad with the back 4 assured of starting, then in the middle of the park it just seems to be whoever is available will start with Clayton. Upfront no-one is banging them in at the moment and McCormack will not start up top on his own again. No threat from signing good players in January either so not too much motivation in my eyes.

The players are fighting a lost cause thanks to Mr Bates selling gradel and the playoffs would be a massive achievement, yet the unrealistic aim of promotion would still probs be failed. Can't wait to get Somma back and hopey he can start a partnership with bechio again cos his runs are out of this world even if his workrate isnt. leicester will finish the season storg and Reading have matchwinners and a manager who demands results. blackpool under olly will fight till yhe end and gus could soon wake up.

When the players can be assed they're as good if not better than any team in the Championship. Coordination, organisation and work ethic are our problems, I don't think Grayson quite instils motivation in them as much as he could and Howson certainly doesn't, need a better leader as captain.

We have easily one of the best first choice starting 11's in the league (possibly the best barring the back 4) but we've barely ever been able to play that team.

We have all seen Grayson pre and post match and he bores me to tears, so imagine the half time talk!!! OUCH

Re the players i just cant get my head round it, we have a decent blend of youth and experience and as mentioned by Marko on their day good as anyone so why do we eep failing at the important times... It has to be Grayson and his motivating or lack of

West Ham have a far better first team lineup than we do and it's also fair to say Leicester do too. I'd take any 3 of Readings wingers Kebe, McAnuff or Robson-Kanu to play on our left wing and their midfield and attackers aren't half bad either. Blackpool have still got a premiership back 5 (granted they struggled but partly due to style of play and the experience will have worked in their favour), they've got lots of attacking talent to call on plus the experienced Ferguson. Southampton another team with guaranteed goals from Lambert, quality from the likes of Lallana, Cork and Guly. Many overrate our team beyond belief, just be happy they've performed for half a season and given investment (any at all PLEASE) we can consolodate or push again for the top 6

Investment - I had almost forgotten what it means... I like your confidence but if we sign Pugh on a perm that maybe all we get... They must realise between Bates, Grayson and Harvey that we need 2 decent CB's, for the moment Lees needs time and experience and not to be used every game..

I think Lees can be used every game but only alongside a more experienced commanding CB

your probably right but i want us to be able to deal with injuries or suspensions we might pick up. As we are pretty bare on decent CB's as we all know.
Whats your thoughts on the Derby game Josh? I haven't really paid any attention to the Rams but we do seem a bit stronger away...

leicesters first team is poor, very poor. Without wingers you don't have a better first team than anybody.

    1. This coming from the person who thinks 11th placed Leicester are good enough promotion.

    2. I'd also say that it's a pretty fair statement to make given that we're 6th despite, to my memory, only having been able to play our first choice 11 once, in a 4-0 away victory.
