Michael Bridges did it in 2007, and the ban definitely applied for the first team. I think Brady is a good player and I defend him a lot, but he always seems to get pissed off too easily. He gets into semi-fights all the time which he gets away with because he was usually the one fouled which starts it all off, but his reactions are way over the top. Why was he even playing in the reserves?
that is the question why was Brady playing in the reserves with all the action he has had for us and eire u21s does he really need a run out in the reserves ?
He's only made one sub appearance in three weeks for us, it's perfectly reasonable for us to expect him to have a run out for the reserves and to not twat anyone while doing it.
i remember a reserves game last season against Grimsby. Charles (Somebodyorother) got a straight red and missed three games!
Oh well, Garcia's back now and Pusics on the mend so I dont think we'll miss him that much. Its not like he's in the starting eleven is it.
Can't believe some of the crap coming out from some people on here, who mysteriously weren't even at the game. Brady is a young lad, a lot less mature than our other United youngsters but massively talented. Barmby, if he has anything about him will see that and manage the situation correctly.
There's nothing for Barmby to manage. He's made himself useless for us now. He's a 5 star turd in my book.
He defo wanted Xmas off. Peter Swan did this his entire career. The only time he didn't do it was when Stan Ternent signed him, knew Swan always did this and had it written into his contract that he would get a month's fine if he was banned at Xmas.
Agreed, it's not going to suddenly change what Barmby has seen that made him offer a permanent deal. He's still a quality player, we should still try to sign him. His anger issues are a problem though.
I was there, something happened between him and Blair Adams, Brady punched him after something Adams said/did. Very immature for a 'pro' footballer. Bye Brady. Basso and McShane had a bit of an argument too. Four match ban.
To come back from a three match ban and almost immediately get yourself another four match ban, in a reserve game no less, if nothing short of ****ing ridiculous. He obviously has talent, but was fairly **** in the month running up to the Saints ban, I'm really not sure he's worth the effort.
So you lot think he did it on purpose? seriously? The guy will become a very good player but you lot blow hot and cold about every ****ing thing... it's getting tedious and annoying. Make your ****ing mind up. Every young talented player is like him ffs... he's obviously talented and young which makes him selfish on the ball, inconsistent with his performances because he expects it to go his way all the time... we've all ****ing seen it before, why is it so surprising? Most of you wouldn't put him in the starting eleven anyways so what's the big ****ing deal?
