Evra actually went out of his way to say that he didn't think Suarez was racist.

Well comments from those that were at the hearing
It is our strong held belief, having gone over the facts of the case, that Luis Suarez did not commit any racist act
Nothing we have heard in the course of the hearing has changed our view that Luis Suarez is innocent of the charges brought against him
Patrice Evra himself in his written statement in this case said 'I don't think that Luis Suarez is racist'
It appears to us that the FA were determined to bring charges against Luis Suarez, even before interviewing him at the beginning of November

The major issue i have with the verdict is that it seems to be based on nothing more than evra's word against luis word. In no other court would a guilty
verdict be produced when its one word against another. Regardless of teams or players involved this surely is not how we want the governing body to react. A medai campaign and pressure brought on themselves through there reactions to fifa and blatter has forced them into making a strong decsion based on what seems to be very scanty evidence. If they do have a good basis for there descion then the ban is entirly justified and id happilly take more, its the knee jerk reaction that i am most perturbed with. It could have been anybody at the end of the day. Id like to see how the fa explian the descion more than anything.

Mate, your name is Yid Vicious.......Various members of my family would find that incredibly racist, so maybe you are not the best person to be commenting on a race Arguement.... And if you come back saying its okay, because you are one, then you are implementing cultural differences and allowances which is far more racist than calling someone a colour...
I dont know the details of the case, (as you dont) so cannot provide evidence, Can you provide evidence he was racist?

Look I said from the start, until a decision was made I'd keep stum. I have done and a decision was made. If the decision is overturned I will come back with my tail between my legs!
Like I said none of us were in the court, but I'm not naive enough to believe an 8 match ban was given out unless they had something hard to base it on.

This is what I find quite unreal. I think Evra may have made the accusation without really thinking, then in hindsight has thought, I may have just ruined this guy's career but instead of withdrawing his claim which would make him out to look bad, he's tried to "be the bigger man".

He said that there must have been strong evidence against Suarez if he was found guilty. Since he was found guilty he'd rather him out and the sooner the better. It's simply not a question of KD regardless of any Liverpool statement.
