I've already seen that he can coach hence not being relegated that first season, getting on to the CL twice, getting to a cup final 2 years in a row, winning a cup
You do realise that the results didn't start coming until we spent money in the January transfer window don't you.

Literally nothing changed until the cheque book came out.

Trippier was injured almost straight away, and Bruno wasn't introduced until later on, so the success was a result of the superstar signings that were.... Chris Wood, Dan Burn and Matt Taggart?

Do you need me to show you the results?

Results improved dramatically after the chequebook came out.. That is a fact btw.

There was no Howe coaching miracle.

Joelinton was the player of the season, and his movement to the correct position was a result of Howe. Likewise getting Clark out of the team.

Contrast this to when we were in a better position at the time with McClaren in the table and he was given money to spend on Shelvey, Townsend etc, and things got even worse.

Even under Ashley we'd still have been able to sign Wood and Burn, who were the players who made the difference. The transformation we went through was a result of Howe, I don't think anyone will argue against that.

I'll repeat the point which was that results didn't improve until after the chequebook came out and the results improved dramatically.

BTW the Joelinton to midfield he simply stumbled upon.. It wasn't a case that he identified him having the attributes for midfield.

Essentially without the money nothing would have changed and we'd have gotten relegated.... The owners are the real reason for the clubs success.

Well of course they are, but we were going down at the time under Bruce, and even during Ashley regime, we could have signed Wood and Burn, Howe clearly changed things and kept us up. From then we had the potential to build with Isak, Botman, Tonali, Livramento etc

Whatever merits or lack of them Eddie Howe has, getting a tune out of the players for the last few games might be his biggest challenge.
To my mind the season has been over for some time now, but I still found the weekend a terrible low. Second half performances are just wrecking results.

Injuries, fatigue, poor summer signings, with loads of games have made their mark big style.

Just hope that the players are motivated to recover from a crappy March.

I'm basically saying we'd have got relegated without the money.

Howe's success has been down to huge financial backing and in the end his thirst for more control on transfers has made a rod for his own back.. He's been backed enormously and given more control than he'd get anywhere else.

Howe is just some bloke that's easily replaced and I don't subscribe to the managerial nonsense we get Today. I guess some people need someone to worship, but I'm doing that's it's the people writing the cheques.

Howe vs pep and all that bollocks makes my eyes roll.. They ain't winning a damn thing.

I could get on board keeping Howe if there was some semblance of an identity and a way of playing.

For most of this season I have no idea what we are and what we are trying to achieve. People say transition year but we aren't transitioning to anything other than utter boredom and confusion.

Near enough. But certain posters are forgetting what has been achieved and the first sign of a blip and it's constant negativity. Yes EH has made mistakes but the players are equally to blame

Blaming the players and Howe is acceptable, but what I see is people crediting Howe for the good results and then saying it's not Howes fault when we lose.

I don't think they even know they're doing it, because both actions boil down to an emotional decision they made before they even made it.

I just fancy a change and I think the takeover needs a little fluffing
