I think the point of Evra's got form for playing the race card is getting monotinous. Each claim should be judged on its own merits.

Still no verdict, by this time tomorrow it would not surprise me if the FA had swept the whole thing under the carpet. Why , even the BBC's South American football expert is now writing articles in defence of Suarez !!!

Have a read back Alan, Comas used a metaphore. Easy enough to understand in context.

Got to say to you 'Pool fans labouring under some idea that if Suarez is found not guilty there will be a counter charge against Evra, there is no chance of this happening.

It's already been established that Suarez called Evra something, be it Negrito, Negro or whatever that happened to be, and is now claiming this is all hunky dory in Uruguay.
Trouble is, Evra is not Uruguayan and so if he feels offended or insulted then he feels offended or insulted. Simple as that, he has no charge whatsoever to face, regardless of what happens to Suarez.

Cries of 'but he has history' will make not the slightest difference.

I do wonder at the state we are now at when someone gets accused of "playing the race card" for taking offence when someone calls him a "****ing immigrant". I suppose by the same measure James McCarthy now has a history of "playing the elbow card"?

I think the overall general feelng is everyone just wants it to go away. Some think Evra is crying wolf sme think he has gone over the top and others think he was genuinely offended. I don't think anyoe thinks he is going to or should be charged as noone can possibly prove he was\not offended, unprovable point there.

As long as a ban is not handed out and it is over and done with we can all get back to football. It is all hunky dory in his region, it has a different meaning as in the hand signal ok\very good is an offensive hand signal Brazil that may get you slapped so that part of your comment is pure bollox.

Also, I am a liverpool fan so it may seem what comas said was a metaphore to a united fan but I think it was quite undersandable and I am still unsure what he was actually trying to imply. You are just an asshole that becomes a swollen asshole the longer you sit at your keyboard until you get all Ard on your posts<ok>

On the contrary, what you said proves my point to be anything but bollox. If I were to go up to the person and make what I thought was a nice wave of the hand but this gesture is in their country the equivalent of flicking the Vee's, they will still be offended. Exactly as Evra is offened by what is allegedly a term of endearment in Uruguay.

Otherwise yeah, I'd as soon it went away. My personal hunch is that Suarez is a horrible racist **** but I don't really think that will ever be proved.

Thanks for this bit by the way. The FACT of the matter is that the Harold Shipman bit was a metaphore. I made no reference to anything else.

Shame you are too ****ing stupid to understand that.

Being a dick isn't being racist, they were both guilty of that at least though for FTLoG we know Evra wont be charged.

    Not stupid, dumb

You seen the Liverpool fans claiming conspiracy <laugh> For them to have given him a 8 match ban, there will have been ample evidence that he racially abused Evra. Massive well done to FA for handing the harshest punishment possible to a low life.

Told you they would <laugh>. Do any of them still think he's a great guy? What with the cheating, swearing, biting and now racism.

On a side note, Precedent should be set for Terry now.

My personal hunches very often turn out to be quite correct. I'm a good judge of a person.

    Off with it probably.

As much as I think this is the correct decision the FA are hypocrites who do themselves no favours at all with their ridiculous inconsistency.
