reserves Arsenal 0-4 Chelsea

Discussion in 'Chelsea' started by AlphaCanine, Dec 19, 2011.

  1. I do agree that some have been "wound-up" by some (not all) of the things I have said. That was never my intention, and I cannot help how those of a sensible nature take my comments. Ultimately, they are merely words, that's all. Nothing I say can hurt anyone; and I am never intentionally spiteful (unlike a lot of those posters who scream "wum" any time they hear someone with intelligence and wit writing something they don't like to hear).

Some of these people really do need to get out into the real world to see what real suffering is all about, and perhaps they might learn to put a lid on their sensibilities, and take the written word with a pinch of salt.

You have been warned before by me and certainly by SW6, what I don't want to see is you attempting to wind up the Arsenal boys on our threads or you will be ****ed off.:police:

  3. As I have told you on many previous occasions, I really could not care less.

If you, or, more to the point, Gooners, are so pathetic as to be wound up by what I have to say, the problem is very much theirs, not mine.

As I said, it is never my intention to wind anyone up. And if that is the effect of what I say, perhaps people should try to lighten up a bit.

Saw it on CTV tonight! Christ-- that direct free kick was extra special! We have some very special people in the reserves--who I'm sure will be plying their trade in the first team next year!

  7. One of the real benefits to come from the new finance rules (hopefully, shortly to be enforced by the FA) will be that those clubs with the strong academies, like Chelsea, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Southampton, etc will, in the long term, be supremely placed to become ultra successful, because home-grown talent will be at a premium. It will also encourage those clubs that don't have such strong academies, such as my own beloved Spurs, to put more effort into nurturing its own young talent. English football will be the ultimate winner, although we'll have to wait upwards of 10 years to find that out.

I know there are many that will relate what we have achieved is all through buy-buy-buy! However-- unless you subscribe to CTV, its hard to appreciate what very important things are happening away from the popular press headlines! It was always Romans plan to provide the fabric to build on for the future to replace the big purchases with home grown talent. Tonight I have come to believe we are getting there!
