i'd agree, mostly oceans is for the missus as its 2hours of build up to 2 mins of action but i felt it was decent, knights tale is funny, lots of action and an unobtrusive love story for her to give me the excuse to watch

I really hope they don't ever remake the Rockford Files, RHC would have a breakdown.

Still watching The Wire Season 2 about 1/2 way through, best TV prog ever so far just beating The Sopranos.

However The Sopranos had a superb ending so The Wire has to finish well.

Is that the Sci Fi series? Will Pirate Bay it now. I've got Deadwood and Oz to get through after the Wire.

It's Fringe science. It's not like Sci-Fi as in Star trek ****e.

It's a slow burner for the first 4 or 5 episodes but it's easily the best series I've ever seen <ok>

    I'm starting on Supernatural next.

    Don't like Supernatural.

I'll wait until Fringe is finished and then get it.

so rhc which star trek is really not gash?

ok watching the orignal series is funny cos they are so dated and yet you can see they were in a time when it was so cutting edge dealing with race issues, etc...

the next gen is total ... gay? the uniforms are terrible.

ds9 was terrible until they got going with a good war and then they ended it too quick in the last season, only sloving it in one epsidoe...

    voyager was just poor.

the new moview was ok though.... just ok but there you go.

sg1 was funny and sent itself up a lot...

for the record there only ever was one good star wars movie, the first one, the thrid one repeated the first one!

The original series and to a lesser extent, Voyager, not least for 7 of 9. I find the concept of the Borg quite disturbing, much as I did the Cybermen when I was a kid. The films are OK and the last one is good.

    thats ****ing sacrilege..

    Star trek will become reality..

the original series was ****, the original films were absolute quality though.. as to next gen that now is dated though again the films were all good. DS9 was watchable ****e, voyager as rhc rightly points out was watchable ****e if only for 7of9.. though my favourite has been the most recent which was Enterprise..

I'm with Eric, Star Trek is pile of total bilge. You all need to grow up and get some ****ing reality in your lives.

Trekkies are ****ing drongoes and you Sweats can consider yourself to be an ex mate of mine.

The new film is quite good, it modernises Star Trek really well. Just watch it as a stand alone action film rather than worrying about who is what from the 70s etc etc.

I have heard that is the case. The one when they were young? If I get the chance I will.

Yeah, first outing of the Enterprise ship. Purely on it's own its a great action flick, apparently the consensus is the Trekkies aren't huge fans of it which is good news for the rest of us.

Quick opinion poll fellas, anyone seen Nowhere Man? I'm a big John Lennon fan but have never seen this film and want to know if it does it justice.

    It's on Film4 at nine.

    BBC 2.
