After his loan spell last season i highly doubt we'd bring him back!

Although bringing him in would increase turnovers at all the local pie & pastry outlets so Mr Allam could be thinking more of the local economy than HCAFC???

Ahmed Fathy- If hes as good as he is on FM he will be a fantastic signing :) i will however be the first to admit i know nothing more about him than how he performs on FM

Zaki however not that long ago was leading the EPL scoring charts however he just doesnt seem to fit the Pearson attitude and person mould really so i doubt it will happen to be honest.

The chances of Amr Zaki rejoining Hull City are zero.

In fact, they're nowhere near that good.

He's over weight, he's got a bad attitude, he's barely played for a year and he's exactly the opposite of the sort of player we're currently signing.

There might be some talented players in Egypt that are worth taking a looking at, but Zaki's not one of them.

....surely we dont need to look any further than his previous stint with us to see what he can do...or not do ...just rely on the sight of your own eyes!!

Yes, but what if the chairman thinks he knows football and insists?

    He won't.

Some chairman might, but ours won't.

“I love my country although I live in England and I will do my best to book places for its football talent in European leagues.”

I don't like the sound of that. This sort of thing has caused a breach between many a manager and his chairman.

Fathy is a good player like, but I think the Zaki story is a lazy journo linking the first Egyptian player he could think of to us. Especially as he has played for us before. Which as a result answers itself - he was dross!

Nigel Pearson doesn't seem to be bothered by people at the top interfering though, so I doubt that would be an issue.

I do think this story is complete bollocks though to be honest.

It's not lazy journalism. The story directly quotes Allam talking of Zaki. “We are interested in transferring Zaki back to Hull City in spite of the unsuccessful loan experience last season and I hope that he can appear in form soon,” Allam told Al-Ahram Portal.

by the rest of the article though it sounds as if he would like these players here but only if the management are ok by it

No chance. When he first came last season he looked sluggish, overweight and when he did find fitness he was mediocre at best. As a few others have said, Zaki is completely the wrong type of player Pearson has been signing.

Also, the Allams support the manager's dealings and leave that sort of thing to him. They're not the type of owners who will force signings through because of their own desires for players.

He would be a good signing though if he's on little money and would be a better option than Etuhu up front.
