What do people think of young Marvin Sordell (Striker, Watford) seems to be highly rated and there were even rumours that Liverpool might make a bid! For me, he is too much of a gamble for a Premier League club at this time, unless he is to be farmed back out on loan again. Sordell is apparently top of Saints shopping list and they're looking at bidding £4m for him, Swansea are also rumoured to be bidding roughly the same, a bit too rich for us I fear.
At Dele stage of his career, even though I am sure he would prefer to play, he was more than happy to get another years pay, even if he was to be a part bit player.

i mentioned Sordell a while back and was shot down in flames for it. But along with the likes of Maynard, Rodriquez, and Jutkiewicz i think that Sordell has gone off the boil and is beleaving to much of the hype over him. Dont think he would improve us really, imo.
I'm not sure we should take much from his comments - he doesn't seem the type to state his intentions to the media. Whether he wants to stay or go will be all settled behind closed doors I imagine.
From what is said I don't think he knows at this stage, Millwall have said they are interested, but will depend on the price. NB I think is yet to make his mind up one way or the other, and it will probably come down to whether NB gets who he wants on loan or buy, and whether Millwall will pay the asking price.
I'm pretty sure NB would be in favour of keeping Simmo unless Millwall turn around and meet our valuation of 600k. However it will be Simpson who'll be the one dictating whether he stays or goes, and I'm pretty certain he'll opt to leave.
