Journo on twitter saying Bardsley is a doubt with an ankle problem. I guess this could mean two things if he misses out. 1. We move Ricco left back Sess to left wing an play two up front. 2. Move ricco left back give McClean a start and play sess in the hole again behind Connor or bendtner. Also Noble is in the first team squad again, but if he features will be from the bench.
Hope Ricco doesn't go to Left Back as he has been much better playing in Midfield recently. Sess (IMO) should be out on the wing - "In the hole" hasn't suited him and there's even a post on here saying he "huffs and puffs" - If he looks like he's huffing and puffing for me it's been due to the players around him (up front/Centre midfield) not pushing on enough and not getting into the positions they should be trying to (Bendtner sitting on the wing when Sessegnon is looking for someone in the box to give the ball to??) BTW - I heard the reason Bendtner got caught up in the car kicking scandal because he was told to get to the middle of the road but ended up at the edge where he wasn't supposed to be??!!
Thought Ricco did well at LB when Bardo went off injured against Spurs. If true, I would play Sess on the LW and play 2 forwards. Give Maclean 20-30 minutes at the end of the game again.
