On Sunday I was taking a wander round St H and saw a flyer in a window for a fund-raising event for Autism Jersey. With youngest having Aspergers Syndrome which is an ASD, I decided to register my interest. It's a trek round the French side of the Pyrenees - 7 hours a day for 5 days in Sept! ATM my epilepsy isn't a problem but I will have to fill out an health questionnaire.

Finally got the results of the xray on my hip and there is a small overgrowth of the acetabular, which means there is bone where there shouldn't be<yikes> within the hip ball and socket joint. Doc says the Physio should be able to sort it out, otherwise injections will help!;)

Al there is a new treatment available for that sort of thing ,cant remember what Mrs N called it , but basically its like a localised ulta sonic vibration which dissolves the unwanted bone tissue!

Physios are great when the damage or problem is muscular, not so great when its a bone issue! Al dont ditch the needles just yet <laugh> , Least you know the nature of the problem! My knees xrays say nothing wrong with bones or alignment , So an MR in the new year !

Acupuncture Is used as a form of pain relief , Ie stimulating or blocking nerves and is a good form of relief in some cases , especially if you dont want to pump loads of drugs into your system! Ideal for young sportsman :)
