Now that's a promising one. Adam Hammill would do very nicely. We are a team that likes to use wingers nowadays, so a bit of quality/depth in that area is important. Hopefully like his brother, the 'force' will be with him.
i think you can sleep soundly in the knowledge that nobody NB wants to keep will be leaving. but it makes sense to get rid of the deadwood of past managers and free up cash for players that NB and the club feel will improve our promotion chances.

Well yes, but, my point was that nobody would dream of offering us £5m for him, so that is what we should tell clubs we value him at. I do see Butterfield (and Hoolahan last season) as very Korenesque players, though.
Sell Koren?? There goes our last minute winners!! However, Butterfield has scored 5 this season and is a good 8 years younger....would be ideal if the unthinkable happened.
ok ok. i said i would never do this again after being badly let down over the Ayala non-deal, but on saturday i was told by 2 people in the know that Kebe is on the list. Now he is a free transfer in the summer and Reading want something for him so with Lesta also rumoured to be after Kebe who would get him ? NB or NP ? Dioes it come down to simple cash or who is the best for his career ? Its also been well mentioned by CI and others that the club have made an offer for Brady. Its now down to Man Utd. I dont see anyone that NB rates leaving and why should they when they are as close as ever to the PL ? Adam Hammill wont drop down and from what Wolvers are saying they intend to keep there best players in Jan as there relegation battle continues. Its gonna be fun in Jan for sure.
What about a player like Lewis McGugan? I'm aware he's at Forest and they're not having the best time of it at the moment, but he's not a bad player.
we have Koren until 2013 and by then maybe it will be time to upgrade him anyway ? dont see it myself.

Assuming that you're talking about Kebe, then I'd agree. Edit - Did you amend your post, I'm sure it didn't mention McGugan before, or am I going mad?
