In terms of a performance, West Ham. We were fantastic that day and losing doesn't hurt when you play like that. Otherwise I enjoyed the Leicester game for obvious reasons.
Whilst not the best game technically probably Watford for their DQPR antics and the injury time winner.
I'd go with that and the Leicester game as the most satisfying. For quality of football, I'd probably go for the Brighton game.
Forest away last season is one of the best too but that would probably be the only one i'd choose from the 2nd half of last season.
For the sheer delight, Watford and Leicester were great but Cardiff was very good too and the Reading one was a big relief (we hadn't even scored at home before then). Derby was a good atmosphere but I wouldn't go for any of the ones where we've not won, it pisses me right off us losing, espcially the games like West Ham and Blackpool where we have so many chances!
I'd go for Derby in November. Great team display at a difficult cross roads in our season (maybe i should wiat till the end to say that). Cardiff was brilliant. Up till then people were whinging that we'd not played anybody decent. There was alot of knee jerk reactions flying around, people calling for Pearson's head because of events that had occured a month earlier in the Blackpool, Macclesfield and Leeds matches. They weren't a bad team but we competed well and showed what we can do. Brum was the first time we showed true grit to come back and win from going a goal behind and it wa sin a difficult run of fixtures- 3 in 5 days. Exhausting. West Ham was good but we didn't win. And that's what matters the most. Playing well is a plus side. I'd be happy with grinding out a string of 1 nils, especially if we're not at our best.
If Hull - Sheffield United was just a week later that would've taken the prize for me. We were brilliant in the first half and Stewart ripped apart the opposition all game. Bullards half time antics and late winner were great too. However, that was late 2010. My favorite of 2011 has to be Hull - Leicester because of the great feeling of gaining revenge on NP and silencing the Leicester fans. We dominated all game and Koren's near last minute goal just put the icing on the cake.
Really tough question. Lots of cracking home performances this season: Cardiff, Leicester, Watford, West Ham, Birmingham. Plenty of good away wins too: Last Season- Portsmouth, Derby, Forest, QPR. This Season- Brighton, Peterborough, Derby. I'd throw in the 2-2 draw at home to Leeds. We were incredible in that first half. Probably our best half of the year apart from West Ham at home and the Birmingham win. Second half started excellently for them but we took over again and either side could've won it.
Watford for the sole fact that we scored with pretty much the last kick of the game, we got that bit of luck which it feels like we never get, such a great feeling walking out of the ground after that.
