It's always a Thursday but if they can pay the FA to open up and sign in time for the Norwich game, that would be a great start to the New Year. Just got to go and feed the flying porcines now.
3rd January 15:00 - he will be paraded down the Uxbridge Road on the back of Steptoes cart, with Shergar pulling it and Mordy with the reins - while Richey Edwards sings a collection of Welsh mining songs. I am afraid I'm an unbeliever at the moment - 'Arry is going for the title, why get rid of Defoe?
I can't see that this is anywhere near being a done deal or a deal at all... but i would like a copy of the DVD so i'll say 10.27PM on the 31/1/12. Really can't see it though, why would tottenham let him go? Adebayor is only on loan at tottenham and might not even stay for the duration of the loan so I would of thought Spurs need to sign another top quality striker for this to happen and if adebayor doesn't continue his loan they will still be light. Can't see it happening. I think you will be keeping your copy of the DVD and taking some abuse - hope it does happen though. Also can't see Cahill signing for spurs now either, Dawson should be back in the new year and i think Harry will try to keep Bassong as cover, he might need the money to replace adebayor... I want a copy of the DVD!!! - does anyone know when and where i will be able to order it over the tinterweb?
Tuesday 10 January - 4pm. Whilst I haven't seen film and don't know when I'll get the chance - I'd prefer your signature on a blank cheque CB.
OK, so I'll avoid Friday 13th and go with Thursday 12th Jan at Noon. CB is starting to sound awfully confident about this...
Don't worry Ellers, I think most of us are just humouring Cerny with our replies. I think only one or two are taking him at his word.
I know and i am just having a laugh with CB and really hope he does prove me wrong and i will be gutted missing out on that DVD.
Oslo i was wrong about Bothroyd and you were right. He let me down big time on Sunday. He was slow,sluggish... well just 'crap'. It was one of those bury my head in the sand moments.
Ellers! Funny thing was when I saw t bits of the ManU game a 2nd time, Betty seemed to do more than I'd noticed originally, he actually created probably our 2nd best chance of the game when he got free on the left and slid slid a cross that went right across goal, Mackie didn't quite get there on time ( a bit typical unfortunately). Bench for me against Sunderland though, if DJ and HH are fit. Anyway mate I rated Cerny over Paddy (still would play him again) but though he pulled off some great saves, the 2nd goal was partly his fault, reckon he'd think he could have saved that. And he was totally lost on a cross that Jones headed onto our bar too, but all in all think he should hold his place, just about!
