i dunno i couldn't tell you i would never say they were **** as they're good musicians the songs are good i just can't get into them i'm sure everyone has bands like that

 

It's catchy. It's mindless music to cater for those who just love something simple to understand.

 

That's like me and Muse. They're good musicians, good songs, I just can't get into them! Something about them just puts me off.

 

If i want something simple, i'll listen to Anthrax. if i want a challenge, i'll listen to Death. No pop ****e on my radar.

Yeah i know what you mean. I'm a bit like that with Brian Eno. He's good it's just i'm never really in the mood to listen to any of his music.

 

I normally loathe radio friendly music, but even i like Muse. Knights of Cydonia was ace, good song to play as well, especially when you drop your guitar tuning, because it sounds mental then.

 

It's horrendous going to party's as well where everybody's singing along to these **** 'songs' and i've never heard them let alone know the words! That's why i love this thread...it's pretty much the only place where i can get sensible music recommendations (besides from my sister).

 

All of their singles in 3h30m Ended on A Design For Life, everyone in the arena stood up and sung all the way through, it was immense! Genuinely brilliant live band!

I honestly don't know what it is. I just can't stand them as a band, they make me cringe.

 

I just hum songs i like, and try and ignore the ****e being played. Hummed an entire megadeth album before, and nobody seemed to notice...

3h30m ! I think this is the closest i've come to jealous hate before Once i see The Black Keys, seeing them live is the next aim in life. I saw their gig that was on the red button when they went back to their home town and they just genuinely seem to be excellent wherever they play, whether it's a huge stadium or tiny town house!

I know what you mean, Knights Of Cydonia is the only song i genuinely like and even that's when it's being played loud!

You obviously weren't humming loudly enough then I might try that though, just sit in the corner and hum as many albums as i can to myself until it's over...it'd look a bit tragic though!

I'm suprised i didn't get caught out. Everyone else listening to generic pop punk song number 53, i'm humming the solo from Symphony of Destruction.
