January 2026 has gone with very little action taken. I'll drop it out of the stickies section and replace it with this.
Time to look forward, but what division will we be in?

You reckon we're gonna win the playoffs then?

) for free) on the decisions facing BBM.Salech I think will be a shoe in as soon as he's deemed fit enough.Just reading a WoL article (I still seem to be able to read their premium articles () for free) on the decisions facing BBM.
What to do with Salech, and especially Colwill snr., on their return. Aparently, we've scored more goals and picked up more points per game without Colwill than with him.
Do they walk back into the side or do they earn a place off the bench?
Nice problem to have. It feels as if a few teams could be put to the sword during the run in.
Its what the article was suggesting. When colwill plays, everything goes through him, since then our play has evolved with a broader approach to our attack.Salech I think will be a shoe in as soon as he's deemed fit enough.
Context needs to be given as to who we've played in the period without him. Personally I believe we are a better side with him in it.
As for Rubin, I reckon he will need to re-earn his place and play out of his skin to retain the shirt once/if he gets it.
I know that sounds a bit crazy given his undoubted talent but we've played for so long without him now that his reintroduction could actually disrupt things slightly.
He has more of a tendency to retain and travel with the ball than some of our other '10's' in my opinion as opposed to keeping things ticking over with simple probing passes/our side to side passing in order to work openings instead of trying to 'force' an opening through some fancy footwork....
As you say, very nice problem to have when it arrives.
No brainer IMO for both of them to start. Others are Trott, Ng, Kellyman and Wintle. The LB spot is now between Bagan and Scanlon. The CB’s, other CM’s and wide players are all capable of being starters but also can be rotated or picked in a match by match situation. Robinson off the bench. Its what the article was suggesting. At least when he's back its another option.
A varied squad which will keep the oposition guessing.
BBM certainly keeps us guessing.
If you start Colwill snr at 10 and Salech at 9, where does Kellyman start? Back on the wing?No brainer IMO for both of them to start. Others are Trott, Ng, Kellyman and Wintle. As mentioned here often BBM will “find a way.”If you start Colwill snr at 10 and Salech at 9, where does Kellyman start? Back on the wing?
Hes shown a lot of quality through the middle.
And if you start him on the wing, do you drop Tanner who has 6 assists in 6?
Wintle will be missing on Saturday. Who plays 6?
Whatever, BBM will have something planned.
Remote mentioned Trott on another thread. I gather City have an option to buy at an agreed fee. If that’s correct then it would be a no brainer.
After all the money we've wasted over recent years. Not just on transfers, but on wages, its nice to see some good business. The option to buy is on condition we reach the Championship and is pre agreed at €1.8M which equates to £1.57M - bloody bargain.
Not "summer '26" yet but I'll stick it here - this is very good news...................

There were some moans about him earlier in the year, but as BBMs game plan and philosophy have become embedded, many of the players like Ashford, Zac, Bagan and others have become instrumental to our success. Not "summer '26" yet but I'll stick it here - this is very good news...................
