please log in to view this image The bloke on the right at the back is very keen to show how he dresses to the right, or is the hanger still in the shorts? Reminds me years ago of the town football team photo after a cup win, my mate was in the front row crouching. Unkown to him his shorts had ridden up one side and his bollox were out. Everyone who saw the photo had a good laugh...unless you're the Editor of the local newspaper who missed it completely, and the pic went in the local paper across the back page! Back to the photo, and what's Scott Parker doing next to him, who in turn is next to Mad Frankie Fraser in goal, who's stood next to Rob Brydon. Different times for boots too, the only way to stand out was to change the colour of your laces!
The bloke on the right at the back is very keen to show how he dresses to the right, or is the hanger still in the shorts? That would be "Nice One" Cyril Knowles. Bill Nicholson described him as looking like a Rock 'n Roll star. Cyril's shorts look to be a good six inches shorter than Alan Mullery's.
Where's Paul Stewart? Seriously great work 6061. HD- Keith Weller was only an apprentice never played for the seniors, left in 1967.
Cyril's shorts look to be a good six inches shorter than Alan Mullery's. ------------------------------------------------------------------ ...so are you saying Mullery was a lucky boy?
Now now people there maybe children watching! Back on topic-Sandro has sounded the battle cry by stating that beating the blues it reinforces a title challenge. That's the spirit.
So how many can we name? I struggle beyond Greavsie, Nice One, Mullery and (I think) a young Gilzean?
Back row- Mullery, Bill Brown(gk)next to Knowles I think is Maurice Norman Front row- Jimmy Robertson,Greavsie,Frank Saul, Gilly & Cliff Jones That's all I can name, 6061 any help?
Easy! Back row: Alan Mullery, Eddie Clayton, Laurie Brown, Bill Brown, Ron Henry, Cyril Knowles Front row: Jimmy Robertson, Jimmy Greaves, Frank Saul, Alan Gilzean, Cliff Jones
Lawro says 1-1 so expect anything but. I think we've got more to gain from winning and putting in some distance between us and the chasing pack, than we have to lose even though we'd drop to 4th. Chelsea and AVB might value a draw more than us though.
Pundits and journo's will have their negative pens at the ready with anything else but a Spurs win, they're dying for the wheels to fall off. If I'm perfectly honest, and because of what I've experienced before, I'm not sure if we've got locking wheel nuts on or not either!
I don't worry about bin-dippers, we have our own theif...Ledders...keeps hiding Suarez in his pocket!
