There should be more tax breaks for the financial industry and bankers as well. It's these guys that'll get the economy back in good shape so we should give them a boost.

Cameron telling everyone that we are a proud Christian nation and people who get married should pay less tax - these policies smell more of an American Republicanism than a British Conservatism. I've been with my missus for 10 years, we have two kids and decided to buy property together rather than spend 15 grand on a one day ceremony. We live in a modern, liberal and western democracy. I go out for a pint these days and half the people I drink with were born in different countries, have no or different religions and are single, married or 'other'. Why to hell would anyone of any intellectual ability crave to go back to a situation where we all knew each other from birth, have 2.4 children and think that anyone who is different should be shot or colonized. I'm not sure if he genuinely believes in these values or is playing politics with middle England.
