Hi guys, got talking to a few of your fans after the game yesterday in one of the local chippies. Had a right laugh, don't usually mix with away fans apart from a general "f*ck off home you mugs!" :D.

Was talking about the game and clubs in general, mainly about how it was a decent showing from both sides with a few missed golden opportunities, not many teams come at us at the Lane so it was refreshing to see a good end-to-end battle, how we missed Bale and how you missed Gyan/ Bent and then appointment of MoN is a great plus for you guys. The fact that January is round the corner I'm sure he'll pull off a few coups if the money's there, he's a top manager and has a proven record in the Prem and I have no doubt he'll steer you guys clear and start climbing the table.

Anyway as I said, was a good laugh chatting to them and it's kinda given me a soft spot for you lot now, so as the title suggests, all the best for the season lads <ok>

    Thanks mate <ok>

    Cheers mate, fully understandable <laugh>

Thanks mate, this year above any is the first time we feel we're on par if not better than Arsenal and Chelsea so we're hoping to finally become top dogs of London this season.

<laugh> Unfortunately not, Diamond Kebab if you're ever down, top quality stuff! <ok>

What a contrast from 606 and the Spurs fans over Bent. Wonder what we would all be saying about him these days...

Cheers mate...If I come across any away fans at Sunderland (Mags excluded of course <whistle>), I always make an effort to have a chat with them, and 99 times out of a hundred I've found them to be top notch people who are just out for a good day out following their team..

Bent can do one for all I care. I wished him all the best when he left us as it's fair to say we never game him a chance and therefore can't blame him for leaving but when he celebrated infront of us the year you beat us 3-1 at SoL, I've since wished him all the worst, was completely disrepectful and he needs to remember it wasn't the fans that chose to bench him more often than not. I have a sly smile now seeing him at a Villa side that in all fairness looks poor under McLeish.

Yeah as I said mate I don't usually interract with opposition fans but it has to be said your lot was a top bunch. Absolutely agree, away days are always about having a laugh and obviously hoping your team come away with one or three points, I'm hoping to go to the SoL this season, went SJP this year so wanna make it a double for the Tyne and Wear sides!
