He’s 63-ish. Quite a normal age to do office stuff. Ridiculous as Fosse is in various respects this isn’t one of them.
You got lucky, I got moved into the 67 category, by a matter of a few months.66 in October - and got my first pension at the end of it ... and we could sell up and move to somewhere cheaper - but with a girl still at Uni (Reading) and one commuting into London, will probably stay working for at least a couple of years ... also enjoy it - mentally stimulating ...
Like I saidit used to be because you still had a mortgage due to an expensive divorce .![]()

Isn't everyone in a private pension now unless they opt out?I don’t think pensions will be a thing when I’m 70. Assuming I get there.
Probs gonna be 77 by the time I retire !You got lucky, I got moved into the 67 category, by a matter of a few months.
Yeah I mean state pension. That money will be commandeered by the recently elected Gaza Independent Alliance government.Isn't everyone in a private pension now unless they opt out?
Me too, bastards. You got lucky, I got moved into the 67 category, by a matter of a few months.
Personally I think the government have got all this pension age increase wrong, and I said at the time they are shooting themselves in the foot, and we are seeing the consequences of that now. Hence lower labour force and people living off their savings and investments, especially women, sticking two fingers up to the thieving politicians.Probs gonna be 77 by the time I retire !
I’m not actually planning on retiring though. I’ll try and keep my hand in my business for as long as I’m physically able, hopefully my daughter (or maybe her partner or kid) will want to take it over when I’m an old crock
yep i'm in the 67 category so years to go yet by which time my ESA (sickness benefit in actual words) will have decreased to nil since it goes down each year including the year it went up 10%You got lucky, I got moved into the 67 category, by a matter of a few months.

Don’t see it tbh. He’s still got a massive majority and it’s quite a niche issue no matter how much parts of the media and social media will blow it up. No one in Labour is smashing the door down to be next leader.Morgan McSweeney going will probably mean Starmer goes, I hope not, we need some stability, keep changing leaders does not help that and will panic the markets. The media are trying to do a hatchet job on him.
