That's how we have set up away from home under JS. Don't concede and try and nick it. Kolli should of won it, happy days, sadly goalie made a great save.Every time we get near the top six which would give us a bit of excitement we don't take our chance and always against the bottom half teams. Yet we can beat the top teams.
Another away performance with hardly any attacking threat. Seven away games without a win.
Time to except we will finish mid table.
NothingOnly Nathan effing Jones would put Kelman and Dykes upfront ffs.
You just know what'll happen....
It is mate, we had chances to win it late on, but a point a piece is spot on. We have set up away from home like this for mths, and bank on 3pts at the next home game. So need to be beating Blackburn next week. We have so many game changers injured that I am really happy that we can still put in performances with a makeshift team and could of nicked itJust catching up with our match and scoreline, at least a tight defence with lack of goal scoring, so was that a "good" point tonight?
Walsh was definately a positive tonight.
The ball being full of helium also helped, they would have been about 5 up had their strikers got their head over the ball.
Another game that could have been ours had we pushed forward, very frustrating.
We've got no squad presently, and for some reason Saito has to play, so not sure what options we had. Vale was more likely to keep it tight than Smyth out wide, so made sense. We presently have a very limited squad, and I personally think we are doing really well considering that factI know we finished the game stronger but overall that was dreadful against a very basic team. Bizarre to take Smyth off rather than Vale. Centre-halves and Walsh did well. Madsen doing Madsen things. Saito is about as strong and useful off the ball as my nan.
I stated mid Jan, that if we get to March still within 6pts of play offs that we would make it(assuming that all the injured players are meant to be back by then as stated by the club), and I don't think we will be far off that.Walsh and the back four were good, the front four were awful and the midfield indifferent. A clean sheet and a point away from home. Onto Blackburn. Mid-table finish incoming, not too shabby, no scary end of the season is a positive.
