Does Bates recieve the Ridsdale treatment

I hear there was chanting at the weekend 'Bates Out'!!! I recall, like many others of you will, that Ridsdale (during the end of his tenure) was spat at, attacked, death threats, banners all over Elland Road, and 90 minutes of chanting to get out; basically his life was made a complete misery.

Whilst I disagree at the lengths made to remove Ridsdale, it worked, he could not handle the pressure, and was forced to walk away.

What lengths are being made to remove Bates from power? I know Bates lives in Monaco, but, if he knew he was not at all welcome (especially when you consider his age), surely he'd sell up???

 

As soon as we started to protest, Bates called us 'morons'. Have we softened up, imagine if Ridsdale had called us morons...

 

I have been called worse than that elland....lol,
but on a serious note mate i was flabbergasted when he came out with that AND the fans, who incidently deserve the upmost respect for what they have put up with in the past 5 yrs or more, did not hammer him continuously from the terraces until he had no alternative and walk away.

 

I read Ridsdale autobiography, and some of the things that happened to him and his family were awful, what have we done to Bates?
