ffs olm. if city were in mid-table i would agree with you. but as things stand now its a no brainer spending 3 million when there is an £80 million carrott waiting from the tv deals alone just for getting to the PL. it maybe that the meeting on dec.23rd that AP / NB have with the Allams will be to confirm the deals. we shall see eh ?
no it is not. imo Billy Sharp is a far better player and with better coaching will improve even more so. IMO. for what its worth i dont think either is worth the money mentioned but thats football today for you.
I still think we will get a striker in on loan, which will give us an option on who our striker will be next season (dependant on what division we are in)
Will Cost 3million - http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11734/7386538/Rovers-Sharp-will-cost-3m Are we prepared to pay that though?
I think you will find that Sharp really isn't on our radar, as I said previously we are going to bid for a striker that has played against us since NB has been in charge (and have had an approach for another striker who has played against us strongly rejected)
Kris Boyd has terminated his contract with the Turkish club. Free agent, looking for a club. ?????? No thanks.
Jamie Ward, Theo Robinson, Jay Rodriguez, Sam Vokes, Rickie Lambert, Guly Del Prado, Lee Barnard, Daniel de Ridder. That's every striker that's played against us between Barmby taking over and when you first posted that comment on 1st December. Go on let us know more
Both players (the one we asked about and was told no chance, and the one we are going to ask about) are in that list.
I believe the reply was something along the lines of "I would rather sell the club than sell him to you".
