Oddy - Trycoxagain... Red Bean Stew is good... If on the windy side of things... Seems better than Cucumber Sandwiches...
Hindsight, as they say, is a wonderful thing but that Spear Thistle was once-upon-atime a useful hurdler and even further back won on the level for old boy Gosden. Probobly didn't deserve to be 5/1 in a 3 horse affair. Oddy, we had Fisherman's Pie together with sweetcorn and carrots. Couldn't fault the latter pair but the Fisherman's pie wasn't the greatest (fish a bit rubbery and the mash lacked fluffyness). 6/10 from me.
I'm hard to please on the old Fisherman's Pie front Sir Barney as my dear mother makes a corking, I say corking, example.
I've got 2 rounds of ham and mustard (english-always english!) sandwiches here. Usually I'm a bit of a non-stayer, travelling awkwardly and then weakening rapidly in the last half an hour before 1pm. Today, however, I'm still cruising on the bridle at 1.30pm.
Are you expecting it to FLY home Dan? Be a bit of a DRAG if it gets into a front-runners SLIPSTREAM but can't get past.
Another cracking day for the appraise system with Ohio Gold and Spear Thistle both obliging - well done Ardent
Anyone ready for the Cup Draw? Start me off with one number between 1 and 8 inclusive. I will take the first number as the home team of the first match, the second number as the away team of the first match and so on.
I see Vitznau is out again at Wolves in the first - a lot shorter than the other day when Wayward tipped him up
