Boxing day fixture could not be more aptly named!! What will your response be to MM and Don Cowie and co? What Banners and posters would you like our fans to show him? Personally short of throwing coins at him , I`d love to see the Vic hostile as its ever been! Would be nice if the WD18(rapist) was as shocked as he`s ever been! but we are to nice and will probably clap him on his return
I doubt this will happen, but the best way to get into Malky and Cowie's skins would be to chant "there's only one Andrew Taylor". They'll be prepared for boos.
I would like to see us just raise the noise levels, but in support rather than in abuse. Prove that we can make more noise than them and come away with a positive result - thus reminding Malky that we are not the small, provincial, unambitious club that he thought when he turned his back on us. We need to show our support for SD and make it as vocal as possible.
I have no real issue with MM, he is a manager in a industry that has little security and he was looking for some security for his family with a huge pay rise - how many of us would not do the same? Yes he took a few back-room staff with him, but that always happens and are we going to put up posters about them? Person I have an issue with is Cowie, he had no intention of renewing his contract and he is worth our collected bile throwing on boxing day.....but as Cologne says, we should focus on getting behind SD and our team and drowning out the sheep fiddlers...
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz 1-0 2-0 3-0 HT 4-0 5-0 6-0 7-0 8-0 Lloydinho hatrick...... Loach scores............ MM crying on the touchline on his knees "what did I do" zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz oh now i wake up and we just win 1-0 but Malky eating humble pie...
I dont see a problem with giving MM stick and will be giving him plenty of abuse to go with it. He stripped the club of its staff and went after all the players we were targeting. I wont be giving Cowie any abuse though, he did not choose to leave, we were foolish and left the back door open in his contract. I will however give him extra stick if he makes a cock up lol.
Just read this comment on the sheepsh****rs board - am wondering if 'our' Malky is actually still there - " I do like the decisive nature of MM's changes. He also makes them early enough for them to make a difference." - because it sure as hell doesn't sound like the Malky who left here!
MM is something to do with the past, something I won't be wasting too much energy on. Apart from recovering from too much turkey, pud, wine etc, I'll be focusing on our present team and hope cheering them on to a win...
Malky had us playing some of the best football we've played in living memory. He never misled or lied to us (in the way Rodgers did). He left to develop his career (who here hasn't). His departure was timed to have the minimum impact - in the close season. We got decent compensation from Cardiff when he left. Cowie's departure was down to the club's bungling. Andrew Taylor was never going to join us. I see no reason to give him any stick. It's the season of goodwill to all men after all.
Yellow, so MM is better than SD then! I was (and still am an advocate of the youth and playing football the right way!) However after MM left and took half the back room staff and stole Cowie and our targets(Conway)as well ! He left Sean with one hell of a job to do(which to be fair he has been learning quick) Could you really expect us to play similar football ! Sean realised we were going to have a scrap our way to safety within our resources , yes I have disagreed with some signings and some methods ,(in my defence I have come over to uk for more games this season than the whole of MM reign!) The way MM raped the club when he left to the point of really pissing off GT!! Season of good will or not , I hold a grudge ! MM signed an improved contract to stay then months later left ! In my book that is no different or worse to the BR saga! anyway rant over Would irrationally accept relegation and losing the rest of the games ,as long as MM fails to take cardiff up and we thrash them on boxing day! and its the catalyst that sees him sacked!!! Bitter and twisted ....maybe , but he hurt my club that cannot be denied , he broke his new contact that cannot be denied . he raped and plundrered our beloved watford at the end, that cannot be denied!
N, would have to be a helluva throw to get any coins near him unless they come from either the WFC dugout or the press box. I'm probably going to take the same attitude as Dan towards Cowie. If Dicko is playing, I'm worried us booing Cowie would get Dicko thinking that he needs to put in an bad tackle on our behalf and getting himself sent off.
Sure Jon would oblige Barry but it will prob be kisses and cuddles as ever thats the watford way we get raped and then say thank you !!!
i won't be applauding MM. MM, i can't look at him on the telly without wanting to throw something at the tv! I was hurt by what he did to us...Norway is right. Even GT was annoyed with him after he kept coming back and taking more and more. It was a joke. BR made me angry...MM makes me even angrier. Meanwhile, i will be cheering our boys on loudly, as i do...and will be singing SD's name, loud and proud. I hope he learned from MM...but didn't learn how to stab those that are loyal to you in the back!
Well said Lady H I know we are a family club and are not prone to violence , However I do believe Malky has earnt shall we say a bit of banter!!! Cmon people he raped our club when he left , tried to nick Sean as well, left us in a desperate situation , ffs smell the coffee give him grief when he comes back , he hurt us a lot more than BR did if we thought BR was a judas , this guy is far worse, does the term smiling knife mean anything to some of you guys , for that is MM
I'll be there and will much prefer to sing SD and the player's names... although I suspect I will join in with any 'light-hearted banter' that goes Malky's way...
Boo hoo, he hurt our feelings. Get over it boys and girls. I personally am pleased to see a manager we essentially brought through our management youth system doing well, any one of the people he 'stole' from our club could have chosen to stay if they so wished. Cowie served this club well and got the payrise he deserved in a short career, Malky could have stayed on his smaller contract and, if he had a start similar to that of Dyche the same people who called for Dyche to be sacked and boo our own players would have been calling for his head. And yet we like to speak of loyalty, double standards anyone?
