McKenna isn't really an Ashbee style player. Ashbee was more physical, powerful but lacked technique. McKenna on the other hand is light weight, yet very composed with the ball and is good at passing. I'd compare McKenna to Xavi in some respects. He does give us leadership in midfield though.
I've seen quite a few City fans likening our players to Barca on here. It does make me chuckle. Messi should be in our sights. Billy who?
Kilbane is our very own Messi. EDIT: And just to clear this up I didn't mean McKenna was anywhere near as good as Xavi, just that they have similar playing styles and share the same attributes.
