I didn't count , if you click on the number of comments for this thread on the main page then it says the amount of comments people have posted.

I don't live on this board I post on it occasionally however because of the impact I make on your board you seem to feel like I'm permanently here , which is quite pleasing to know.

    The 1-9 argument <laugh>

Won the league that year and you weren't there or don't know how the goals were scored , nuff said <ok>

    Keep 'em coming!

Nahh, on another thread they said that they would rather win 9-1 in the Derby and not win the league than vice-versa! So it's does become hard to argue with that <yikes>

I don't understand this "fishing" business either? There's been some good banter in amongst the usual suspects' insults. Also, if you are trolling people, surely you don't take so much time commenting, or you are effectively wasting time for yourself <confused> Very strange.

Apparently commenting on a thread and having some banter is called a bite <laugh>

Very strange as I thought that was the point of a forum.

    Are you guys serious?

You're losing games left right and centre and are fondling relegation zone, not to mention relegation form over the last like 40 matches and we hammer swanesea for 90'' hit the bar multiple times (same against Chelsea) and you're concerned with our form? hmmmhmn. Good luck against QPR at home, they've been on the receiving end lately and are strong at home. I'd rather be playing west brom at our place.

Following your logic then, does the league title that year mean nothing because you and many others weren't around at the time?

They don't get how embarrassing it is. A year of horrendously bad form and then one or two OK matches under O'Neill means they're turning tides, whereas we hammer Swansea and are extremely unlucky to come away with a point, yet we're now on the slide <doh><laugh>

We've had 3 of the toughest matches of the season over and done with (Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea) which coincided with each other. We got one point, Sunderland will probably get no points (or maybe a draw, who knows) yet they can't grasp that they will eventually have to deal with the same fixtures and ultimately face all the teams we do.

I'm chuffed with how things are going, and not once have I spotted our fighting spirit or footballing ability dwindling in the slightest. We've gave our all in every game, but with four right backs vs Norwich, and a simply really unlucky 'one of those days' type games against Swansea, many points from those games just wasn't meant to be, but even then we're 3 wins ahead of the middle of the table.

It personally means **** all to me. I really don't care what happened A CENTURY AGO.

Most Sunderland fans know this, and they know that if we were using the same thing against them they would find it ridiculous as well. However, they need something to latch onto and use as ammunition considering the recent run of events, so do I really blame them*? No.

    * By them, I mean those who are choosing to use it. Not everyone is, and I'd rather not tar everyone with the same brush.
