I was at the game yesterday and was disapointed at the amount of stick that Bothroyd took from his own fans! Yes i agree he has not yet progressed into the goal scoring machine that so many had hoped (IMO he will never be that type of player) but he always puts in a shift and was no worse than HH or many others yesterday, he received more stick than The Wigmeister yesterday and that is enough to put any player of his game. Get behind your team cos they need us more now than ever in the last few years
Sorry Faurlin but he is just not a prem player,we all know why NW bought him and the sooner he gets shot of him and others the better.
He never paid a penny for him! And he cant get rid of until he has brought in replacements. Personally i would like to spend some money on a creative midfielder to make things happen up top for JB HH & DJ.

Agreed but it was the booing before that, NW probably didn't take him off as he won't be dictated to by others.

Some people see a player who's got a fairly languid style and assume he's lazy ergo worthy of booing. When has booing a player/team ever helped anyone? You have to bear in mind that most people in this country are thick as two planks so of 15000 home fans you're bound to have at least a few thousand that probably shouldn't be allowed outside.
He didn't do himself any favours not trying to keep a ball in down the loft end, was probably a lost cause, not clever giving up on it though.
Mate, i was at the loft end and Usain Bolt wouldn't have got that if he left Saturday, the service or lack of was shocking yesterday and im sure that was the reason why he got slaughtered. Pointing the finger at the wrong bloke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He's coping flack cause he was purchased when we were buying on the cheap before TF,he can only work with the service he is given and on Sunday that was crap,now the boo boys expect mega millions to be spent on a striker in January when traditionally prices are inflated, because of the position were in he has no time to settle in,so the pressures on.
I didn't hear any booing before the substitution. A lot of people around me were moaning about him though, saying he was lazy and pretty much useless. I'm not too keen on him, but there were worst performers yesterday....SWP and Barton!! The booing was surely for NW for taking HH off....although in retrospect, I can understand why, as he wanted HH fit for Wed night!!
Will never agree with boo-ing your own players. We are supposed to be supporters, if you boo your own you might as well be on the opposition side. Damn I hope we win Wednesday as this board is in serious need of some Christmas cheer.
agree I hate the booing but boothroyd is in a long line of bad strikers - hope he makes it better and proves all of SA Road wrong -at least the bit I sit in...
