My assertions are based on what I've seen with my own eyes which (without diving into echo chambers for either side) seem to be backed up by the reporting of reliable news sources. I have now seen 3 videos (including one posted purportedly to back up justification for an execution), and I'm yet to see a video that suggests the victim was a threat to anyone. The media suggests my viewpoint is a rational one. If you have seen actual video evidence (even in an echo chamber) that suggests the victim was a genuine threat then please send me a link, otherwise I'll believe the evidence of my own eyes and base my judgement upon it.
That's fair enough, but your eyes obviously didn't see that the victim had a gun - even CNN reported that but you categorically denied he had one. It's dangerous either way, whichever point of view. Some people were ok with Charlie Kirk being murdered because he defended gun rights but they will protest about Alex Pretti and he had a gun in his possession.
I don't think you've mentioned it, but the casual ' Trump's America ' is lazy and disingenuous, much like 'Starmer's Britain': the decay and rot was a long time formed before either of them were elected but we bandy the terms about as if they're personally responsible.

In that country, i was there week before last, its perfectly normal for people to carry a gun. There is nothing odd or unlawful for most people to be armed. This is weird and unnatural for people in Europe but its normal for them. Saying he has a gun us like saying a Brit has a combe or penknife....

Without commenting on the rights, wrongs or the politics, but it's ****ing strange, or stupid, to carry a gun on a protest against armed members of a government organisation who have a recent history of being trigger happy.

To which the NRA have responded by saying the suggestion that people who carry guns risk being lawfully shot by officers is dangerous and wrong.

The NRA!

Like it or not American citizens have the right to bear arms. The NRA are the ones pointing out that that does not give others a right to shoot them.

It's ****ing strange to carry a gun everyday full stop IMHO.

However, thousands of Americans wouldn't dream of leaving home without one and for them it isn't about politics.

Personally I don't think you can make it perfectly lawful to carry a gun and then use it as a justification for killing someone.

If the weapon had been drawn then that's a completely different situation.

Whichever way you lean, what is happening in America right now is ****ing abhorrent; whether it be ICE, Trump warmongering, political allegiance being more important than human life, etc, etc.

It must be bad enough if you are a decent American, but how the **** are English people defending this sort of ****? We have different values in England to America. It just demonstrates how ****ed up our country is becoming.

To quote the **** factory, Wake Up!
I agree. Our country (like USA, like most of Western Europe, like many other regions across the world) is ****ed up.
But odd that you make no mention there of Antifa, Democrat agitators, BLM, etc etc, just Trump and ICE.
"The Trump administration has deported more than 605,000 illegal aliens, with an additional 1.9 million self-deporting, bringing the total number of illegals who have left the U.S. since President Trump returned to office to over 2.5 million".
2.5 million who had no right to be in the USA. I wish we had a version of Trump here (although preferably a bit saner and more careful with his words).

I'm more concerned about the 'warmongering' going on in this Country than I am about your dislike of America...

Is that more than Biden kicked out? Although thinking on it may have been Obama. I vaguely remember a bit about how many Trump had deported and it was less than the previous president had. Something like that.

We have a guy who is such a sell out he will pay tribute to a dead nonce for £75.

I think you are comparing Biden v Trump's 1st presidency?
However, the inflow continued apace under Biden.
I don't have the figures to hand.

The major difference being that the latter two are in power and are abusing said power.
