There's not been a situation yet where I've seen abortion as the best option. Killing is killing, and even if whatever's being aborted isn't even sentient yet (which we don't know anyway) it will be in a few weeks. You can't use something like a genetic disease as an excuse; if someone could have predicted Steven Hawking's motor neurone disease we would be deprived, as a human race, of fantastic knowledge. Even in cases of underage pregnancy or rape, how could it be just to punish the child for the mother's (or father's) actions?
so you would expect a rape victim to raise the child of her rapist? can you imagine the horror of looking down at your child only to see the face of your attacker sucking on your engorged tits? hardly seems fair on the woman, but i suppose she was drunk/dressed like a slut and was asking for it.
