unfortunetly our board before the takeover sold him for 1.8m if we where in prem would have got 15mil tops hes an amazing tallent but can get in a strop if he doesnt get in first team as we found out at charlton i supose 1.8m not bad someone nearly end of his contract i think anyone would have taken that i reckon if he carries on playing like he did against villa he could be a suprise choice for cappello for euro 2012 he doesnt stop running and thats a good thing surely?whats even more exciting at charlton we have his cousen who i think is 13 or 14 and reports ive heard he plays better than jonjo now and would u believe it he has blonde wavy hair
at charlton we have some quality youngsters comming throught the ranks like -poyet junior ,goldberg,cousens,piggott,popa,silva and harriott we have such an excellent youth system we have to be as not in prem anymore,this system produced the likes of scott parker and lee bowyer so it does work
wow this thread has descended into crap.... Shelvey looks good, Charlton have produced some nice talent over the years, I hope they get promoted, which looks fairly likely. Was at the Oldham game 2 days ago as a mate of mine invited me, so I now have a slight interest in Charlton
