Bollocks. He might go back but I doubt that's legit. Why would Brady have the 17 in his user name? It's his squad number at a club he's on loan at for 6 months, it's not like Beckham having 7 or 23 in his.
Not too fussed if he goes. He was very inconsistent with little end product. Hopefully his stint here has taught him not to be so greedy. We got the better winger from Man U in Stewart, if Man U deemed Stewart surplus, for the life of me I can't see what future Brady has at Old Trafford?
The end product argument about Brady is absolute bollocks. Anyone can see the biggest strength he has is his crossing/shooting, he can whip 'em in better than anyone else we have. He had a few bad games, but it doesn't mean he's ****. We'll be doing everything we can to keep him, and it'll be a shame if he does go back because he's got more to offer us this season.
Erm yes, what you've written is bollocks. Cameron Stewart twice the player Brady is. Brady is greedy, tries to do everything himself which results in more often than not nothing.
Stewart is one of my favourite players, I have nothing bad to say about him and I'm not comparing. Brady is a quality player, it's become cool to slate him because he had a few difficult games. He's not ****, neither are Hobbs, McLean, Adebola or Gulacsi (who it's also cool to slate). If you watch him play his crossing is the best in the team, and the best I've seen from a City player in a long while, you say no end product. Well apologies but if you start having a go at a player for his biggest strength someone probably will shoot you down.
You just showed a stat on another thread that argues Fryatt converts a lot of chances. There are lies, damn lies and then statistics.... If there's one player in our team who's going to score from a cross, would it be the likes of Dawson (for the sake of argument) who aim for the least dangerous area possible? Or would it be Brady who whips it right in there and wreaks havoc? What happened against Reading wasn't just a coincidence, it happened because he makes his own luck putting balls like that in. Who else in the team can do that?
It was luck with Brady scoring v Reading. I'm not slating him, he's a good player, but he's young, greedy, always has to try and score when a team mate is better placed. He's been sat on the bench of late for a reason, he's simply not good enough for our starting 11. There are better wingers than Robbie Brady currently plying their trade in the Championship.
I wouldn't argue that there are better wingers (like Stewart) but there aren't many. I too wouldn't start him at the moment until McLean or Stewart need replacing. You missed my point about the Reading thing. Who else puts the ball in that area? He is the only player we have who can do it, he said himself it was a cross, but who else puts their crosses in that danger area? I'll tell you who, Premiership wingers. You see that kind of cross on MOTD all the time but rarely on the FL show. Brady has learnt from the best at United and it shows in his crossing. If this is fake and he stays (hopefully) you'll all be back on his side when he gets back in the team and proves you wrong. He's a very talented player, but just happened to have some hard games and then get a ridiculous red card and 3-game ban. He has a lot more to offer us.
I disagree, for someone at United, I expected his crossing to be much better. As it is think it is very poor. As above one goal and one assist! He is good at finding row Z though.
Where do you get these insights on what players are thinking? Earlier you said Chester was only good 'when he wants to be', and now Brady thinks he's too good for us? :S Snodgrass and Brady are very similar types of players, Brady can be just as good as him when he gets another run.
It doesn't strike anyone as odd that he's following plenty of City players, but none of them are following him?
he's chatting to bostock so I dunno. looks legit to me. but then a more recent tweet (5hours later) mentioned city being in extension talks but he doesn't know anything else...
It struck me as incredibly odd. What possible reason would he have for talking to Bostock? They're probably both ran by the same person.
they do have something in common... a loan spell at our club... sorry but there's as much evidence that this is one massive mafia of fake footballers' accounts tweeting each other than this is the real boys. How would some fake wannabee get that picture of brady? anyways quite liked Fryatt's recent tweet. I think it shows he's settled here and not looking back.
I don't recall saying Fryatt converted a lot of chances. I do recall suggesting that expecting a striker to score more than they miss was ridiculous. Just because something looks dangerous doesn't mean it is. You can't argue that a player's shots are a strong point when 39 out of 40 don't end up in the net. Even McLean has a much better return than that (about 1 goal every 9 shots) and he gets hammered for the amount of chances he fails to put away. You also can't argue that a player's crossing is his strong point when as a winger he's only created 1 goal in 15 (4) appearances, when the left back behind him has played half as many games and created at least as many goals with his crosses. EDIT: Hopefully before this is quoted, if we're looking for Brady's strong points you take his pace and dribbling ability which regularly draws 2 defenders to him. If we could get him to play a simple pass and get it moving across the box at pace to exploit the gap he's created he'd be much more use to us than his crossing and shooting is.
