Before I get shot down in flames and im fully expecting it heres my reason. We just cant keep the ball upfront when its knocked to Bentner (If hes actually there and not roaming around on the wings having a *** or smashing a car up) or Wickham it just goes straight to the opposition. Now Wickham will learn im sure but we need a forward who can keep possession and say what you want about Heskey the big lump can hold the ball up and bring others in. We have all heard other strikers (Shearer, Owen etc ) say they love playing with Heskey and thats because he can bring others in to the game. Anyway thats my thoughts and I think ive convinced myself as I reakon it will happen so we might aswell get used to the idea and maybe just maybe MON knows what hes doing.

Haven't you been linked with Bobby Zamora?
He's turned himself into a Heskey-type player, plus he'll actually score you a few goals, too.

I think that your strikers will actually start to get a few soon though, now that the rest of your side is starting to fall into place.

Heskey has a shocking goal-scoring record - if you seriously want a decent striker you should be looking at someone proven like Darren Bent... oh wait...

You've gone off Bendtner mighty quickly, he was hero in his first few games, "the only decent player in the team" <doh>

To be fair he was really good in the first few games which lead to the praise.

Recently he hasn't even looked like he's been trying, which has changed mine and many others opinion.

TBH I'm not worried just frustrated, the signs are there and its been two weeks under MON and Campbell is coming back and the window is about to open.

We need 2 FORWARDS. Not 4-4-1-1.
Bendy(if he stays), Wickham, Frazier, Ji & Noble. Play any 2 upfront and tell them to stay upfront. no f*cking off onto the wings, stay in the middle and get midfield a lot closer to link up. We actually look ok going forward just lack of bodies in the final third.

I'm no expert in these matters, but by the looks of what you've included in your post, it looks as if you want me to kiss your behind, give you a **** and show you my prick.

I'm flattered by the interest,(it is after all a modern world we're all trying to live in), but I have to say that you're 'barking up the wrong tree' as far as my sexual preference goes. :emoticon-0109-kiss:

It’s not rocket science so I believe MoN will splash the cash on a proven goal poacher. Someone who can turn all our half chances into goals dare I say it but along the lines of DB.

To be fair to Bruce his record with player management would have scared a few off. Mon represents a new beginning which I believe will attract interest from a number of quality fringe players who due to the size of some squads are not getting a regular run.

Did any of you see Heskey play yesterday - he was ****E - We may need the sort of player he used to be capable of being but not at this stage in his career - he is not a good footballer - he couldn't kick my arse if it was in front of him
