True. Westwood may have passion but he is a complete twat, there is a line were passion changes to pure out and out stupidity. He crosses it a hell of alot of times, like when he pissed on the seats at ours.

 

Why exactly is he a twat? What has he done so bad?

To be fair, urinating on the seats at St Mary's is totally out of order. I don't care if Southampton are our rivals, that's still out of order.

 

I agree, pi55ing on seats at SMS is too much and not even a show of passion. Just disgusting. I don't think it's right for one fan to dictate to another how to support their club though, and that is their own choice. Was it wrong to have a flare today?

Exactly , I have pompey mates and we all love the banter, but we all know were to draw the line. He doesn't it's as simple as that.

I thought they were just smoke bombs as I could only see the smoke from where I was standing.

Don't get why people take flares tbh, it's massive in italy and turkey and poland. The euros will be full of them.

He is a drunken fool and you can slate him however much you want for being a drunken fool but having a go at him for expressing his passion for his club with tattoos, changing his name and turning up at every game with bells, drums and a bugle or in a special costume - as the oringinal post did - is going beyond the line in my opinion. That's not having a go at him for outrageous and unacceptable behavour, that's having a go at him for the way he choose to expess his support.

 

Would never have a go at him because of his tattoos etc, just the way he acts annoys me. I have a Saints tattoo myself so can't really slag him off for having pride in the team he supports.

 

I have no problem with that. What I objected to was that this thread was started not to criticise Westwood behavour but just to have at go at his appearance.

 

Considering he's been ejected from grounds countless times for drunken disorder and other fans have had bans for life from far lesser offences, he should thank himself lucky to be able to still act like a weirdo at football.

I am just so thankful that he's a Pompey fan. I'd be embarrassed if he was at St Mary's every week.
