We all know that bart had a nightmare game last week, but i believe that with some match time he will improve. a lot. Where as guly, well he deserved to be shot today. guly was shocking today. he was useless. What do you think? he was definitely worse today that bart last week. He could have cost us numerous goals today. but, we will never know.
I think that's unfair. the way I see it each players contribution is like the butterfly effect. Who knows if bart had played and kicked the ball different and we could have won 6- nill.
And also it's easier for strikers. If jose had played like guly did today we could have seen double figures.
No one can deny Guly was very poor today but those who went to the Ricoh we balance this performance with one of top quality Everyone will have a bad day but it is the managers job to realise he was not on his metal and get him off the park and bring on someone who could do a better job
guly has been constantly bad for the last couple of weeks, and yes he should have been taken off. I also feel nigel should have changed things a bit.
So basically evolution of saints you don't like Guly, you could state this without making pathetic comments. Did you watch the Blackpool game where he was outstanding or perhaps consider the reason Adkins didn't take him off was because we had no one suitable to replace him on the bench?
What and play Lambert up the top on his own ? De Ridder is too inefective as a striker for my liking.
yes i did see the Blackpool game, and the bristol and doncaster. there (bristol, doncaster) he was **** as well. exactly, play de ridder down the middle. you saw he is ineffective down the middle, well so was guly. any one wold have been better than guly.
Come on guys....every one is entitled to an opinion no matter what that opinion is. Comments such as pathetic and stupid are not exactly what we want to hear when someone has expressed an opinion it is it? Although I can understand why people might be tempted to say that when responding to comments such as "deserved to be shot". Ok I understand it was not meant as a real statement of intent, but it does go to show how easy it is to offend.
He was not shocking.. he was just lazy.. bart was short of confidence and put in goal on a televised game which prob added more pressure to him. what gives you the right to belittle them? You wanna play in goal or up front?
Beddy, I saw your post on aggressive posting and as I am sure you are aware I rarely get into spats. I accept that other people have a difference of opinion and that is fine however, when someone says 'X' or 'Y' should be 'shot' I think that is a bit over the top and can label that as pathetic.
