Well we learnt today, if we didn't already know, that Djourou is a f***ing liability and the sooner we get SHOT of him the better.
Also, Ramsey needs to pull his finger out!
Chamahk was a waste of a substitution as was Arshavin.
Why wasn't Rosicky brought on? Was he in mourning or something?
We could've won this game, but we could've been hammered too.

Wenger makes a good point about not having proper full backs and the problem when you have the ball. No real options for the man on the ball and we are limited on those sides in attack. As unlikely as it is, hope Gibbs can stay fit when he comes back next week.

Djorou didn't play in the 2nd half
Rambo had a poor game today
We needed offense and Walcott was ****e so Arshavin was brought on (i'd have brought on Oxo)
We needed goals so Chammy was brought on too
Rosicky should have come on though

It was a good game overall and I'm disappointed we didn't nick a draw

Arsenal defense should be applauded today vs the highest scoring team in the Premiership. City had to work for their chances and even the goal came from a scrum. AW got the tactics spot on too. He attacked. But kept Arteta back for balance. Sure, City got some balls behind due to Gunners high-ish line (I don't think they went too far forward) but with Santos, Song, and Jenkins all out, how else could Arsenal have shortened the pitch and provided outside outlets? If Arsenal had played further back, City would have destroyed with their pace and strength. Walcott and Gervinho would have been forced to play inside and JD would have been left alone outside to be wrecked too close to the goal. By taking the game to City, Arsenal created distance in front of goal and kept City from running rampant.

    Arshavin.

That's where I think Wenger got it wrong today. I hate to blame the outcome of a match on a single person, but even Walcott on his lackluster performance today did more to City than AA. Arshavin flubbed a shot and a cross-- both excellent opportunities. In fact, Arshavin squandered every touch but a few back passes. And he did nothing to stretch the game. I keep hoping the days of the "little magician" would return. I gave up today.

Arshavin has played himself out of the team today.

Benayoun or even trying AOC on the left would be better. At least Ben... fights. And AOC has tons of desire that would make him a better option even if he is playing left sided.

It's time to sell or loan Andrei Arshavin. Maybe somewhere else he can restart his career. For Arsenal, he appears to be done.

I expect nothing better from Arshavin. So can't get worked up about it. He has thrown in the towel. Time for the OX to take his place on the bench.

    <ok> Good post

I agree about Arshavin, he just isn't delivering and someone else deserves a chance. At the moment though, there's only really Park who is the other attacking Left sided player. I think we're going to miss Gervinho, and I think we need to think about signing a forward in January.

I really think this is the game that will make Wenger bring Henry back.

Anyone watched Villa today? Bloody shocking. I am more then confident that we can go there and take the three points. Then we have Wolves and QPR at home.

Oxo definitley deserves a place on the bench. I hope he will get his chance when Gervinho is at the ACON, don't know about throwing him in on the left though, his strongest postition is on the right or in the middle.

Our hardest 3 points.Kompanys best game this season.Nasri was a class act.Barry must be the most under-rated player in the league.Fair play to Wenger as he went to get the 3 points.

I read it <ok> It was a good game today, gutted we lost of course, but no shame in defeat. Our performance and effort was spot on and deserved at least a point.

The commentator summed it up at half time when he said "I am neutral and this is the best game of football i have watched in a long time"

I don't think my nerves will take much more. :emoticon-0107-sweat

I bet the fourth official was happy to hear the final whistle. <laugh>
