**** Nasri - he shafted us. I don't buy the argument that we'd all do it. £90k per week is more money than anyone needs, £150k+ is obscene.
It's not the same as someone on £20k suddenly being offered £40k - relatively Nasri was already rolling it in.
His excuses for leaving, ranging from the fans, to the trophies, to the set up, were all classic avoidance of the obvious.
He shafted us for the money - I hope his time as City makes him realise that leaving Arsenal was a big mistake.

  4. The way I see it now, both Nasri and Fabregas shafted us but Fabregas was the worse in that he had three years left to run on his contract. Nasri was on his final year, the stage at which he is free to choose his own destiny. I'm not happy that he went the way he did but it was his right to do so. In both cases we made money out of the players but in both cases, the players themselves had not been performing at their best for us. Nasri had a good first half of the season but was quite muted from January onwards.Sadly I will always question Fabregas's leadership of the team and why indeed he should have been selected as captain. He was not a leader who inspired the players, one who could gather the team together. His skills were sublime but when he switched off, he switched off and he did that long before he left so I don't miss them now. We should though have used the money from them, even if it meant getting an advance from the bank, to get players into our team early so they could settle. Players come and go. Most important for me is that we keep the man in the number 10 shirt. <ok>

Ok I will be honest... so far he has been poor(bar his debut) he will go on a mazy run then provide a assit... but that is it for the game.. at times it looks like he wants to play the through ball to Aguero(for example) but then ****s out and plays a 2 yard pass to NDJ(for example) would I sell him? NO! but he is a SQUAD PLAYER FOR ME!

You can see now why many Arsenal fans were not sorry to see him go.
    P.S. thanks for the £25 million <ok>

Since my last post you can see his improvement, finally looking like the player I was expecting.

Were you really that much of a **** to bookmark this?

City are still out of the champions league and he's playing less games than he did at the start of the year (2011) at Arsenal.

I think that was the sort of thing that Fergie was talking about when he said City had small team mentality <laugh>

He has played against us (Liverpool) twice this season and he was far more impressive for Arsenal than he was for City <ok>

I saw he tweeted a congratulations message to Arsenal on our 125th anni - I assume this is an attempt to reduce the traffic from 300,000 Arsenal fans who send 'greedy ****' messages to him daily.....

You guys are kidding yourselves, hope you do well in CL but lets face it you are a spent force, you cannot blame a guy moving for money and trophies, City offer both, Arsenal offer neither!
