Made it difficult for ourselves, Modric could have made it an easier last 20! <whistle>, 3pts nonetheless and onwards to the Chavs, need Bale back for that, I don't really want to go into that game with that side.

think it over rides our attacking potential though and we struggle to play the free flowing football we have become used to in the oppositions final third...feels like we got to graft hard for a goal...instead of ripping through the opposition as has been happening

Gallas was MOTM for me. Sandro was excellent in the second half but he was a bit sloppy in the first.

Yeah. We're far more likely to end the season battling it out with Arsenal than City.

Deighted with the win. We deserved it, while not playing great.

Re Bale, either I or some in the media don't understand medical terms.

If he has a sprained ankle, he will surely be out for at least a month.

I hope he is fit for Thursday.

Harry said that Its only a minor sprain for Bale and JD will be busting to get fit for Thursday.
Agree with YV, Gallas was immense today the other c/h wasn't bad either<whistle>

Thought Rafa worked his socks off in 2nd half his hassling helped, I think it was Parker who won the ball for the goal.

Well minor sprain is better re Bale, but I just have to laugh at media people saying he has an ankle sprain, and then he'll be back in four days.

You cannot get get over an ankle sprain in four days, and four weeks is a push for some sprains.

Ok if that is the case what are the options.
Does he play Modric on the left again- thus reducing his effectiveness or bring in Rose or Townsend.
I would like him to bring in Niko at least he can play anywhere around the mf.

Might be a very minor sprain, Ghoddle.
He may have been left out against Sunderland to ensure that he wouldn't make it any worse, so that he'd be available for the Chelsea game.

I know I am tempting fate, but a win on Thursday, and the top 3 are away and clear - especially with a game in hand. :emoticon-0178-rock:
