Walcott should have stayed on, I thought that was a poor substitution. Overall, no shame in losing this game though, I thought we did enough to deserve a point really.
Look on the bright side - that's one of the hardest games of the season and we nearly nicked a point from it! We went into a game against City with Djourou at right back and then the second half with Miquel at left back. That team has torn open United and Spurs AWAY from home and although they battered us at times, if our luck was any better we could've got something. Honestly, the commitment from players like Vermaelen, Koscielny and Arteta is brilliant. Those players are being let down by Ramsey, Theo and Djourou who need to be carried through matches at the moment.
Nice edit in bold, not sure what you said that was correct, but either way you affirm your status of being an asshole. (Didn't you say that Man City shouldn't even be in top 4)
Why are people going on about gervinho when Arshavin was a complete waste of space! Oh lord! Bring on Myo! Oxo!
woeful from Walcott - I'd have him off earlier! Geronimo STILL can't release a good final ball. Our defence was MAGNIFICENT at last...... Why bring Chamakh on?
Both teams missed chances not just Arsenal, City deserved that win but Arsenal gave them a bloody good fight.
Tbh we forced Hart into some good saves City were better, but I felt we could nick a draw Oh well we move on and trash Villa Walcott was dire today so I can understand why AW brought Arshaving on Next time AW have Oxo on the bench
Hardest game of the season and we nearly nicked a point. Also we had to rearrange the back four at HT. It was not a straight swap because more then one player had to move position within the game. Arteta had an outstanding game for me. Started every attack off with simple but effective passes. Players higher up were hit and miss. Shame Walcott decided to put in one his worst performances away from home in this game.
Tbh we needed something...Sadly Chammy was the only thing we had Anway Theo was dire and I thought Gerv had a decent game...That one run and pass to RvP should have been a goal but RvP shot it at Hart
Jayram stop being such a ****. For every right prediction you make you make about 50 wrong ones, and you're too quick to react to everything. If Roberto Mancini had a cold 1 minute later you'd be shouting about how City would be relegated, then Arsenal are linked with Player Y, and we have a shot at the title, and then Tottenham are Great, and then they're ****, and then our champions league draw is amazing, then it isn't, then Tottenham are Great again, then Man City won't finish outside the top four, then we have another chance at the title, and now we don't. Your predictions are worth **** all. If I could be arsed to slog through all these pages to back up my points with quotes then I would, but unfortunately for you I don't have to, because most of the gooners on here will remember what you type sometimes. There's nothing wrong with being right, just stop being such a **** about it.
Changing the back four after HT was the turning point of the game. We did not adjust quick enough. But having FOUR full backs out injured is just unreal and we can curse our luck on that front.
