Manchester City vs Arsenal: Match Thread.

I'm not expecting much from this game but it would be such a great feeling if we won.

 

I think a lot will depend on Song for us today. He needs to fill in for the weaknesses of the Djourou/Mert partnership.

I still reckon 2-2

Well, we're pretty ****ed at the moment. Strangely, if we had Andre Santos, I think we'd be playing a lot better. People underestimate his contribution.

 

Really disappointed with Theo so far. He is against Zabaleta, arguably City's weakest defender, and yet he's been non-existent.

 

Is it somehow possible that this could end 0-0? Who would have thought that at the start of the game.

Though there has to be goals. I see a narrow City win happening here, but I hope I'm wrong.

Liverpool fan watching the game...............Reallly wierd this for me, pot if the old top four Id always favour The gunners over the other two and im a big fan of RVP, but for obvious reasons I want a City win.....but watching the game i still keep favouring the Arsenal... Enjoying the game though

^^ this. thought he'd done his ankle. shud have been a yellow, but dowd has been terribly biased today. yaya toure 2 high foots but still no yellow.

 

Kos has had another outstanding half.

 

Not worried about RVP at all. The whole injury prone thing is nothing but an over-cooked myth.

Would rather see Song over on the left, but he is having a good game & Kos is a giant again, even Mert is doing ok. Ramsey is pffttt and agree that we need to see Theo come into the game in the 2nd half.

 

Szczesny playing really well, we're getting bullied in midfield though. Man City are being relentless.

 

I think we've defended really well first half, but we need to get a grip on MF and start controlling the game. Szczesny doing really well, let's hope he's not quite as busy in the 2nd half. That said, we could have nicked a goal in the first half ....

 

I think our main problem will be the subs. As our players get tired, City can bring on Dzeko and Johnson. Our equivalant is Chamakh and Arshavin.

I would send Rosicky on for Ramsey later.

 

Kolo has been good for Citeh. Just how does that little fat ****er win so many headers? Anyone would think he was on drugs as he flies so high!

 

Definitley need to see more from Walcott - I think the longer the game goes, the more Zabeletta will tire which should open up some opportunities for Walcott
