No Defoe in the team or on the bench! does anybody know why?is he injured? or is he on his way to us?
Fernandes came to the loft before today's game and was asked if Defoe was signing his reply "we want to buy him but they won't sell"
Would I swap spurs champions league elect for a relegation scrap hmm now let's think about it would I f. He won't come to us as long as I've got a hole in my ass.
He played Thursday and was rested today. Sadly to get to the Euro's he will need to score goals and at QPR he aint going to get the service. After today if he had any sense he would keep away from us.
Spurs are out of the euros this year anyway. Next year he'd still be on their bench. So if he likes London we're only competing with the scum, arsenal, fulham, west ham, no problem right?
With thanks to Andrew QPR on twitter! Defoe hints at Spurs exit Frontman wants regular game time Last Updated: December 17, 2011 11:02am The arrival of Emmanuel Adebayor on loan from Manchester City has put Defoe in the shade at Spurs this season. The England frontman has made just six Premier League starts, scoring six goals, and is growing increasingly frustrated. Euros Defoe fears a lack of games could hurt his chances of making Fabio Capello's squad for Euro 2012, with the 29-year-old desperate to be involved. And the striker has stressed his need to play more, telling the Sun: "I'm 29, I need to play football. It's as simple as that. There's a tournament in the summer. "I've been lucky enough to play in one tournament for my country. I want to play in one again as I know if I play in a tournament I'll do well. "I am working hard in the gym. I did a lot of work in the summer to get to this position and I'm not going to waste it by sitting on the bench when I know I should play. "I'm 29, I need to play football. It's as simple as that. There's a tournament in the summer. " Jermain Defoe Quotes of the week "If I was about 21 I could sit on my hands. But I'm 29 and want to play football now every week." Harry Redknapp has made it clear he has no intention of selling Defoe when the transfer window opens next month. But with the striker no longer a regular fixture in the manager's first-team plans, a move away appears his only option if he wants to be assured game time. Difficult Defoe added: "It's hard to explain the feeling when you're starting games, scoring, the team is winning and you're not playing in the next game. There's nothing more you can do as a footballer. "If you're playing well and scoring and, the most important thing, the team is winning, and you are not being picked again, it's difficult. What else am I supposed to do? "It's well documented that I've been in the team, scored goals and then been taken out of the team. For whatever reason, I don't know. "It's out of my hands. What can I say? I can just do what I've got to do and make sure when I play, I play well. That's it really." http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11675/7382246/Defoe-hints-at-Spurs-exit
