they didnt just play a 1-2...he stood there in play and started pulling his socks up taking the piss, completely unnecessary and i think he got off lightly, a swift uppercut would have been justified

Bet you will be appluading if Cameron Stewaret or Brady takes the piss like that against Leeds, or Aaron Mclean decides to trap the ball within 3 feet of himself then that will be taking the piss.

no i wouldnt in all honesty. and they wouldnt do it because they have been brought up the right way at a good club (as much as i hate them) call me a racist if you like but it was a typical jonny foreigner thing to do, its a shame the likes of stuart pearce arent still playing, he would have taught him a proper lesson.

The Jimmy Kebe thing was class, absolutely nothing to do with his nationality whatsoever.

He laid down the challenge to West Ham - react or don't react. They reacted, red card and then an immediate goal from the free kick for 3-0.

Who wins there? The only mug in that scenario was Jack Collison who shoved him to the floor.

If it was a City player who had done what Kebe did, I'd have laughed my head off at the banter of it and ridiculous way West Ham responded. And also all the English people who think they're better people than a foreigner who, at the end of day, pulled his socks up.

Nationality doesn't come into it (unless you hate foreigners). He contributed big time to a 3-0 win and didn't cheat at all. Allardyce said himself you just have to deal with those things and don't rise to it.

    It's that simple.

Thought one of the famous Raich Carter stories was that he sat down on the ball on the pitch taunting the opposition, can some of our older posters confirm?

The reason Allardyce got sacked from Blackburn was due to him announcing that he wanted to move on to bigger and better things when his contract at Blackburn was over.

That is not the type of impression you want to make to a new board. The decision to sack him was perfectly logical really.

Blackburn's biggest loss was John Williams who is now at Manchester City, he is easily one of the best chairman in the game and kept them punching above their weight for years.

As has been mentioned, Venky's are clueless about English football and have kept the 'yes man' Kean in charge for far too long. If they removed him and replaced him with a better manager, they easily have the players to stay in the league.

Chazz. I have a feeling that Len Shackleton might have been the one who did that.

Someone has been tampering with Kebe's wiki page, he's apparently "an English-born Scottishan footballer who plays for Ashridge Park as a goalkeeper".

Isn't one of the Stanley Matthews stories that he was running down the wing in possession with an opposition player behind him, he went past a team mate and carried on to the corner flag before stopping and pointing out to the opponent that he'd left the ball with his teammate?

Almost forgot, the whole point of this post was to give the random fact of the weekend:

WBA's victory over Blackburn yesterday is the only time in their history that they've won a PL game played in December.

It was a free kick and he pulled his socks up, the FL show tried to bend it do say they were showing off just to make the Allardyce interview look less bizarre. But watch it again without any influence from the commentary, there was nothing in it at all. You could say it's showing off when Stewart does his stepovers, it certainly makes the defender look more silly than pulling your socks up at a free kick. I really can't stand Kebe but I just couldn't see what the fuss was about with that incident.

I think the thing with Kean is to read what the Blackburn fans think of him and a lot of them hate him with a vengeance and think he is some kind of puppet of the owners as far as I can tell

It wasn't a freekick, it was in open play.

It really is a car crash, I don't know who to feel more sorry for, the fans, Kean, or the team.

I'm going for the team, how they're supposed to play through all this **** is beyond me.

    He'll be sacked tonight.

I imagine Kean will go if Blackburn can't come salvage a draw now. The problem is, they don't look too bad going forward, it's defending which seems to be their problem. Awful defending contributed to Bolton's first goal.

I see Blackburn fans are doing what Man Utd did and wearing different colours, other than the traditional blue and white halves, in protest over Kean & Venky's still having a presence at the club. Looks similar to our colours.
